6-Acre Mountain Estate · Weddings · Retreats · Large Group Stays
Casa Vista Colorado is a rare 6-acre private mountain estate located just 10 minutes from Winter Park, Mary Jane, and Granby Ranch ski resorts. With sweeping 360-degree Rocky Mountain views, exceptional privacy, and the ability to host large groups on site, the property is especially well suited for retreats, family reunions, and low-key destination weddings where guests want to stay together in a scenic mountain setting.
The estate combines scale, views, and accessibility in a way that is uncommon for mountain properties.
Location & Access
Casa Vista is unusually easy to reach for a high-elevation estate:
1 hour 20 minutes from Denver
1 hour 40 minutes from Denver International Airport (DIA)
5 minutes from the train station, with regular rail service to Denver and DIA
This is a high-capacity mountain lodge, designed for connection, flexibility, and shared experiences â not a luxury resort. Guests who value space, scenery, privacy, and the ability to gather comfortably find Casa Vista to be a memorable and rewarding place to stay.
Weddings & Events
Casa Vista is ideal for intimate, low-key destination weddings, retreats, and multi-day gatherings where privacy, scenery, and on-site lodging matter more than formal venue polish.

The Home (Important to Read)
Casa Vista is intentionally designed to support large groups and events in a mountain environment. With the scale and number of amenities this property offers, there is simply more to enjoy â and more systems involved â than in a typical vacation rental.
To ensure smooth stays, the home is built with redundancy and backups, including:
Multiple ovens, refrigerators, cooktops, and dishwashers
Multiple water heaters and backup heating sources
On-hand equipment and supplies for large-group use
These redundancies allow the home to remain functional and comfortable even if individual systems occasionally need attention.
Our team lives nearby and prioritizes responsiveness and solutions over disruption. Most guests find the home exceptionally well equipped and appreciate the foresight built into its design for large-group stays.
On VRBO, a 5-star stay means the home matched the listing, was clean and well maintained, and any issues were handled promptly â not that nothing ever needed attention.
Kitchen & Amenities
The kitchen is built for volume cooking and catered events, featuring industrial sinks and extensive cookware suitable for both casual meals and large gatherings.
Bathrooms include upgraded finishes, and guests can unwind after a day outdoors in the indoor sauna or indoor and outdoor hot tubs, all set against panoramic mountain views.

Great place to stay. Lots of space for a big group. The kitchen is well stocked with plates and utensils, pots and pans. It also has several refrigerators to use for big groups. The bedrooms were great and well set up. I think the only issue we really had was it was too hot inside and finding all of the individual thermostats was hard. We just ended up opening windows for the bedrooms that were too hot. The hosts were very responsive with a slight hiccup we had with an oven, but it was no biggie and we still had a fantastic weekend.
This house was perfect for our multi family group! The massage chair, hot tubs and sauna were an extra special treat and a crowd fav. The views were perfect, house had everything we needed, such a cozy vibe.
The home itself is spacious and generally well maintained, but our stay had several issues that impacted the experience. Upon arrival, part of the home was without power for several hours. During the stay, there were multiple maintenance visits, which caused ongoing disruptions. One of the bathrooms also did not have running water for part of the stay, reducing the usability of the home compared to what was advertised. While some issues were addressed, the frequency of disruptions and loss of amenities made the stay less smooth than expected for a property at this price point. Future guests may want to clarify how maintenance and utility issues are handled during stays.
Great location for large families! Lots of seating for meals, great balconies for happy hour, hot tubs worked great, etc. The property is a little quirky but really works well for large groups. The host was responsive as well.
We hosted an out of state family christmas here and it was a wonderful time. The location and surrounding mountains are absolutely beautiful and there is plenty of space for kids to wander explore and play. And plenty of TVs for those who dont. We had a few occasions where we needed to contact the hosts for questions or help and they were responsive immediately. Even sent someone to the property twice to help remedy something missing or broken. Overall had a wonderful time and would love to come back again
We had a group of 23, age range 1 to 75. We enjoyed all the space with plenty of room for all, with an extra bedroom to boot. We enjoyed exploring the grounds. Itâs pretty rustic so we werenât stressed about breaking anything. Response time for questions was good. Everyone agreed that it was the perfect place for our celebration. For the first time in a long time that the entire family could attend.
There are a couple quirks about the house, but overall we had a wonderful time! The maintenance person was very nice and helpful, the rooms were clean, the kitchen had a good variety of cookware, and the whole place was very quiet.
We had an incredible wedding weekend with our close friends and family. It was an extremely comfortable property with enough kitchen space to accommodate a lot of people. We will definitely return back for reunions and anniversaries.
My family and I recently stayed as part of a family reunion in CO. Our group was 24 people; half adults and half children. We were looking forward to our visit, but there were some issues with the house. The outdoor playground was held together by ratcheting straps, had gaps in the slide with exposed bolts and screws and swayed quite a bit with only 2 small children on it. We had to tell most of the kids they weren't allowed to play on it. Some of our kids also got splinters as the playground is fairly weathered. There is an upstairs game room with an arcade, a pool table and shuffleboard. Several pool table pockets are mostly detached, so all weekend long we heard pool balls clunking to the floor. The shuffleboard table also had holes in it, so when the kids played, sand would fall thru to the floor. For a house that says it can accommodate 30 people, we anticipated a large living room and a dining table to accommodate our group. Only 18 people could sit at the table, and that was with some rearranging. So for most meals, we were scattered between inside, outside and the living room. There were plenty of beds and sleeping space for all our guests and most rooms either had their own bathrooms, or one close by. I would not recommend this house to groups with young children. There was a large kitchen that we made work. Not a lot of prep space or food storage space. I think this house would be better suited for groups under 20 people.
Upon arrival a bathroom that supported two bedrooms was being re-tiled. Host claimed "just hanging new curtain rod" this repair job lasted until 8:00pm tile and sheetrock dust covered the bathroom and bedrooms. Host said it would be okay to use the shower even though the tile had just been laid and not grouted. This property is so overrated by the host and their posting on VRBO. The maintenance is unbelievable poor. multiple washers and dryers didn't work two dryers had socks and sheets left in them. Utility room looks like a fire hazard. Two toilets had urine left behind from either previous guest or maintenance workers. This property is not suitable for families.
We had 16 adults and 7 children in our group. We stayed in March (our spring break). This lodge was so wonderful for our group!! More than adequate bedding, wonderful kitchen area!! The kids had a blast outside, sledding and building a snowman. The game room was also a real treat for the kids.We had the best time, and in modt part was due to this place!! Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation
This home was amazing! Had everything we needed from Making dinners to having fun outside and in. We had a very large group and there was enough beds for everyone! Loved everything about it! Thank you!!
Found this property for my family. Plenty of space for everyone. It snowed so we didn't get to enjoy outside of the house much. The indoor hot tub didn't work which would have been awesome but we utilized the one outdoors. Plenty of pots, pans, crickpots, utensils etc. There were some patching issues we saw that seemed like diy projects. The bathrooms in the 1st floor hallway was not the friendliest idea lol. Plenty of parking and everything was about 10 minutes from the house!Nothing really too bad except some of the furniture seened dated abd rustic. The highlight was the massage chair. IT WAS AMAZING!!!!!!
We stayed at the property for a family Thanksgiving getaway. We are all from Florida with one family member who lives in Colorado, and chose to all travel to Colorado to do Thanksgiving. Most of the family who attended have never seen snow, and we were fortunate enough to get roughly 2 feet of snow while we were there. We built a snowman and snow angels, snowball fights, etc. The check-in process was very simple. We were given a code to the keypad and we easily gained entry to the home. We did have a couple of issues with the heating at the home. The maintenance and homeowners came just about every day to fix that. The kitchen was equipped pretty well, and what they didnât have we got from the store easily as it was only 10 minutes away. Location of the home was perfect. It felt like you were in the middle of nowhere yet, only a few minutes from everything you needed. The property was private with a lot of space, tables/seating, grills, and a fabulous fire pit. The property amenities were perfect to keep everyone entertained. I would say my biggest complaint is the beds were very hard, and the home was not very clean. When I arrived, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and dishes that were put away were not properly cleaned either. The floors and counters were not clean, and some of the bedding had reddish, brownish stains on them.
Overall, if I had a large party, like I did this time, 15 in total, I would absolutely stay here again. Great price, location & amenities.
