Creek Street Cottage | 2 Blocks from Main | Pet-friendly

Located just two blocks from Main Street in the heart of town this special cottage defines quality. The front porch has a swing and two rockers designed to help guests relax and enjoy.

Inside is a living/dining room complete with oversized loveseat and chair plus a large ottoman and are placed to enjoy the large cable television plus the wood fireplace. The colors in the prestigious room are accents of burgundy and a sage green. A fully equipped kitchen is also open to the living/dining room. Everything two people will need—electric range/oven, large refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave and coffeemaker. Plus an antique oak drop leaf table for four is found in the living area to enjoy coffee and breakfast.

The bedroom's elegance is a wonderful sight to behold. The queen bed is decked in plum, sage and pink creating an air of grandness. An awesome oversized chair is found in this bedroom along with other quality pieces of furniture your hosts have collected. The bathroom has a shower. Just outside the bedroom is a screened porch with a white wicker table and chairs.

The home is pet friendly and will accept up to two dogs. However, there is a pet fee of $16/dog/night. Due to the fact that HomeAway/VRBO does not allow us to charge for more than one dog at the time of booking, please let us know if you will be bringing more than one dog, so that we can make sure that you are charged the correct amount. If you bring more than one dog and do not let us know, you will be charged accordingly. Furthermore, please bring crates for your dogs and crate them in your absence from the house, do not allow the dogs on furniture or beds, and pick up and properly dispose of their waste. If these rules are not followed, there will be an additional $200 charge added to your reservation.

Please be aware that there is a separate, larger home at the front of the property that may be occupied by other guests during your stay. Your cottage though is private and only accessible by you.

House Rules as Required by the City of Fredericksburg's Short Term Rental Ordinance
- Observe the City of Fredericksburg Quiet Hours (10pm to 7am in residential zones). No music of any kind after 10 pm.
- The City of Fredericksburg is a Dark Sky Community with outdoor lighting restrictions. All outdoor lighting is encouraged to be turned off when no one is present to use the light.
- Observe the designated on-site and off-site parking spaces.
- Place all trash in designated containers.

Little house on creek st

The house is located just a block from Main. Easy walking distance if weather is good. Big enough for 2 people and 2 dogs. The porch is relaxing and the yard has a fence for the pups. We enjoyed our quick trip with ease!

Exactly What We Needed

If you’re looking for a quiet corner to get away within walking distance to Main Street Fredericksburg, this cottage is a great choice. Cozy, secluded, on-site PARKING, and a wonderful place to just relax.

This is a very nice little cottage. It was clean and even had a small fenced in area for the dogs. The bedroom was large and it was very nice once we figured out the TV in there. Overall i would highly recommend this cottage.

Wonderful 3 days in Fredericksburg. The cottage was perfect location well stocked, clean, and comfortable. Live music next door was great and very quiet after 9pm. Great communication from owner.

A little too much cottage

We love this property, and it’s been a go to for us when visiting Fredericksburg. However, this visit the up keep has unfortunately gone downhill. Typically the kitchen is stocked full with dishes, cookware, silverware, towels etc. This time only a few of each item and some were quite dirty. The biggest thing, bugs. There were bugs EVERYWHERE inside the cottage.There were dozens on the ceiling above the bed, a few cockroaches and moths. We will probably stay somewhere else for awhile, until they bring their standards back up.

Not so Happy

Unfortunately it was not great. Location is so good too. There were dead bugs hanging from the ceiling above the bed. It was as if no one has been there in quite awhile. And honestly the over use of fabric freshener on bedding and towels was so overwhelming it made us both congested and have headaches. We were disappointed

A delightful place to stay in Fredericksburg. Moreover, there is a very good restaurant and excellent bakery/coffee place next door. When traveling in 90-100F heat, having such conveniences nearby is a real treat. The Owners were very helpful. A+
