The Itz Inn offers guests an unprecedented location right in the heart of the Main Street, adjacent to Hondo's (named after the famous Hondo Crouch) which is one of Fredericksburg's most popular eateries. This is a true gem of a property providing an opportunity to literally step back in time; if the rock walls could speak - a thousand tales would be told. Comfortable spaces both inside and out - lounge area off bedroom and down steps to back patio for an evening glass of wine or a cocktail. Live music at Hondo's is an additional bonus on the weekends. (Please note: You are renting a suite, not the entire home)

- Quiet Time is from 10:00 pm to 7:00 am, per City Ordinance
- If we are called due to complaints violating Quiet Time:
1st Offense will result in a $250 fine.
2nd Offense will result in a $500 fine.
If police are called, you are responsible for any fines or fees issued with the citation or warning. If police are called there will be a $500 fine, even if no citation is issued.

Our room was nice but it really needed a full length mirror which was lacking. Also the internet is non existent which was a pain as we needed to work. Host explained Fredericksburg experiences poor internet service when the town is busy but we’ve been many times before and not had this. Convenient location.

Loved this place for easy access and wonderful stay in Fredericksburg. Did not like the service. Was unsure of which room we were staying in and tried to reach the contact that was provided when we arrived at night. She never answered after multiple calls. Went to their office and no emergency number to call. I finally found another guest at a different property (30 minutes later) who gave me their contact and was able to reach someone. Turns out we were supposed to be in the upstairs suite. No light left on for us and the instructions never mentioned "upstairs." Please add that to the instructions/description of the property for future guests. Other than that, our stay was excellent.

Most uncomfortable bed I have ever tried to sleep on!

The check-in process was nice and smooth, but that’s where the good aspects of our stay ended. The mattress on the only true bed was so hard that my wife and I tossed and turned all night. The internet kept kicking us off and when it worked it was very slow. There is also a nail sticking up in the bathroom that I nearly cut my foot on in the middle of the night. We will definitely return to Fredricksburg but we will never stay here again.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at Itz Inn and would definitely stay here again. We stayed 2 nights for our 36th wedding anniversary during Spring Break week. Unfortunately Hondo’s was closed the Monday and Tuesday that we stayed so we didn’t get to enjoy the front row seat to the entertainment downstairs. We stayed in the Back Privacy Suite which was an upstairs entry. Very cute! So easy to find. Parking was easy and getting into the suite was a breeze! Check out was also extremely easy and low maintenance. There was a microwave, small cold refrigerator and full size coffeemaker with all needed for coffee in the mornings. We would recommend this place.

Anniversary getaway

Great place to stay if you’re wanting to walk to restaurants and shopping. We went during the week for a more quiet stay. The live music from Hondo’s is great to sit and listen to in the living room while relaxing.

Great Cozie getaway

The location of this VRBO was in a perfect area of downtown Fredericksburg with many restaurants and coffee places. The room had a lot of charm and appeal and wasn't just a big room. The room was very Cozie, comfortable and felt like a BNB. Next door is a restaurant with great bands that you can listen and the back entry with its hidden entrance to the room.
