Our beautiful country home is the absolute best of both worlds.
Two Angels Ranch ,located in Fredericksburg Texas, has a beautiful country home on 45 acres just 3 minutes from downtown Fredericksburg. Featuring gorgeous views from the porch and windows, a full kitchen, dining area, 2 living areas, three bedrooms and two bathroom. Each room in the house is decorated beautifully with fine art and furnishings. The master bathroom features a jetted tub that has bluetooth capabilities for music or podcasts while you relax. A bluetooth capable sauna is also located within the home. The home also has a swimming pool, a fire pit perfect for s'more roasting and an electric fire place in the dining area. Away from all the lights the property is perfect for anyone looking to stargaze or enjoy quiet time without the hustle ands bustle of the town. It is a Country setting but close enough to town that you are still able to enjoy the fun.
Accommodations were fantastic! Very clean in a secluded area with beautiful views but still close to town. Beds were very comfortable. The private pool and hot tub were our favorite. Will definitely be returning guests. If youâre looking for an awesome tattoo shop, check out Underground Ink Society in Kerrville. Santanna is an unbelievable artist and a great Christian man. TIL next time!
My friends and I stayed here to celebrate our graduation. The house was perfect for all us girls and the location is private enough while still being close to downtown. This is my second time staying here and I would stay again.
This house is the best!!! The pictures on VRBO definitely make it seem a little strange, but the house exceeded our expectations. The property is secluded & beautiful with 2 horses that roam around. The pool area is exactly as pictured. The interior of the house is layed out perfectly. We were able to use 1 living room as an extra bedroom for guests and it didnât constrict the space. Though the pictures are weird, we were able to remove some to put up our bachelorette decorations & made sure to leave everything as we found it. We stayed in constant contact with our property manager for different questions and needs we had. I would 1000% book this place again!
Host was very sweet and helpful! The only problem was that there were a lot of ants by the pool. But a few bug bites didnât diminish the fact that this was a beautiful home and pool!
We were 5 guys using the house as a jump off point for motorcycle rides in the hill country. Plenty of parking for 2 trucks and trailers. The carport was perfect for parking the bikes under. We sat outside till it got dark and was far enough from traffic that the noise wasn't an issue. Didn't use the hot tub but the pool was refreshing after a day of riding.
We enjoyed our time at this location. Beautiful property, nice amenities, and great communication with host. There were only minor details missed, like a broken coffee maker and a few lights not working, but overall a lovely stay. I would book again!
I love everything about this place and would definitely stay here again. The on-ramp here was just a little more work intensive than other VRBOs I've stayed at. For example, the map linked in the VRBO app did not take us to the right place, and the houses on the street/driveway were not numbered. We were in the right neighborhood but had to ask a handy-man at another property for directions. Also, there was no "welcome folder" at the house on arrival to explain things like how the heat/AC worked. Through our own investigation, we discovered that this property does not have central heat/AC. Two bedrooms have individual units. The master bedroom shares a unit with the living room. We learned the hard way not to sleep with the master bedroom door closed. Nights are cold even in March! Anyway, things like that goldfish crumbs in the bottom of the sauna kept me from giving this place 5 stars. However, these are small things that are fixable. I bet once these hosts have this property a little longer, they'll smooth out all the rough spots. I would definitely book this place again.
We were staying here for a bachelorette weekend. The pictures in the listing are kind of misleading to the actual inside of the property. Everything was nice, but there were too many interesting pictures on the wall (but that is personal preference and the homeowners decision of course, Iâm just giving my opinion). But kind of threw us off once we arrived. The kitchen wasnât fully equipped and everything was kinda just thrown around and not organized. We were most excited for the hot tub, but upon arrival, there was some interesting things floating around and at the bottom of it, that someone had to come out and clean it. In our heads, we were just thinking we needed a place to stay, and it did the job. The thing that frustrated us most was on this particular stay, there was a wildfire that broke out within 8 miles of where we were staying, and eventually crept in within 3 miles. We were told by the host we did not need to evacuate because it wasnât coming in our direction, but I think thatâs ridiculous. For my groups safety, we decided to leave and not stay the last night. We asked the host if we could get a refund for that one night because it was a dangerous situation if we were to stay, and they said no! How can you be like âoh the fire is within 3 miles, but yâall are okay to stay!â. Like to me thatâs a little unsafe. We told ourselves the day we arrived, it was only needed for a place to stay and hang, and it served that purpose. Overall not the greatest in my opinion.
I guess I didnât fully take in what was for rent but everything said home and houseâŠ. Itâs more of an addition to their house. When we entered we were met with coldness as the heater wasnât on and it took some time to heat the addition. The a/c heater unit fan had a constant humming noise the entire time. There is no central air to this addition so temp regulating was not consistent. The pool is in the main houses back yard which is weird. The 45 acres is shared with a handful of other houses.Probably the worst described short term rental weâve stayed at.
The hot tub and sauna were amazing, even enjoyed a couple cold plunges in the pool! Feeding the horses was an amazing unexpected experience. Will definitely return!
Not only was it super comfy, but there were thoughtful little hidden surprises, from charcoal for the grill and s'mores for the fire, flavored creamers for coffee and snacks for the kids. The accommodations were great too; clean, sparkling pool, clean hot tub, toasty sauna. Thank you so much for providing such a wonderful getaway, so close to so many fun things.
Home was very unique! Enjoyed all the historic artwork throughout. Accommodated 4 couples. Hot tub was relaxing, beautiful night view. Listing did not state that it was a shared home, although it was separate and we didnât have any issues other than some confusion upon arrival. Host answered phone call quickly and pointed us in the right direction. Great place to stay and super close to downtown but able to enjoy the quiet vs hustle and bustle. Short Uber ride after night out. Enjoyed our stay!
From the moment we arrived we were in such awe of the beauty that this property has. We were all in agreement with how much the owner worked to ensure we were comfortable. Plenty of towels, comfortable beds, pool, hot tub, fire pit, sauna, and more. We will definitely be back!
The property was nice and we enjoyed our stay. The artwork was interesting. The pool was nice. We enjoyed the peace and quite since it was out in the country. The large coffee maker didn't work so that was a little aggravating, but we made it work with the single cups. That was a small thing...everything else was very good.
This is a great size for a family. It is an apartment attached to the main house but has privacy for the apt and the pool and hot tub. Very clean, quite and safe. We are use to living on acreage so this was perfect fit for us. Very short drive to FB. Host provided most everything you would need and very quick to respond to questions/concerns.
