This hotel is aesthetically beautiful but i believe there are some operation kinks that need to be worked out. The front desk was a bit hectic…my reservation and my friends had two different check out times and hers addressed breakfast as being included where mines didnt. We waited for breakfast for almost an hour just to be seated only to see there was not a packed or even half full dining room. But overall the hotel is gorgeous, the details are great and once the operations are fixed it will be 5 stars.

The room was great, love that there was not a full carpet. The only negative was that the room was extremely hot with the heat off and the window open.

The Publisher is a fine hotel in old town, Fredericksburg! The ambience is fabulous, the food in the bar is great, and the bed linens are soft and comfy! On my next trip to Fredericksburg, I will definitely stay at the Publisher!
