8 person BullFrog hot tub just installed!!! Enjoy a rejuvenating soak while looking up at the Milky Way or the east mountains of Star Valley.
Relax by the fireplace while the kids play air hockey and pool. Enjoy the beautiful views of Star Valley out of the large second story windows. Grill up some hamburgers on the Traeger.
With 6 large bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms, there is plenty of space for large groups to unwind and still have some privacy.
Freedom WY is a lovely, rustic town right in the heart of Star Valley. Jackson is 50 miles and 50 minutes away.

Winter wonderland wow!

We had an elevated, comfortable and magical stay celebrating my 50th! The pictures don’t do the beautiful hard wood floors, heated master bath floor and valley views justice. There was a blizzard during our January stay and our walkways were shoveled regularly and the driveway was plowed. The hot tub was covered and gave us a wonderful snowy view. The kitchen was stocked with tons of spices and gadgets for all types of cooking. There was a variety of dry goods in the pantry as well. The entire home was consistently heated and the gas fireplace upstairs was lovely and heated the room well! We had plenty of towels, linens and hot water. A real highlight was the Frisian Horse stable around the corner and the nice red brick church next door. The beds were comfortable and the overall open floor plan and size made it perfect for the 5 of us. The beautiful artwork of the local national parks was a nice touch and gave an immersive experience of the area. I can’t say enough good things! Also, Chantel immediately responded to a tv issue with an AV tech with a phone call to let me know they would be in the house which felt great. I highly recommend this property and host.

Great peaceful place to stay

Pleasant stay with plenty of room, comfortable beds, lots of movies to watch and games to play. Hot tub, pool, and air hockey were great touches. Kitchen was open, easy to use, and well stocked. We didn't snowmobile but it looked like a great location for it.

We had a lot of room and there was 4 couples in our late 60 and older we golfed and did side by side riding. The fall colors were beautiful and the wildlife was great to see. Beautiful area totally enjoyed.

Comfortable

We were a group of 17. 3 kids on the floor in the game area and one adult on a cot, we made it work. Because of the number of people I had, this place was not my first choice. But we enjoyed our stay. Little extras like a few single size cereal boxes were a big hit with the kids. The owner was very good with answering my questions. Well stocked with spices but no vanilla extract. Plenty of towels. Hot tub towels were separate. We brought our own big frying pan and prefered spatula. I'm glad we did. The pans there were not the greatest. The Traeger is a pellet smoker so we had to go buy some pellets. . There were none there . Be prepared with that if you are grilling. The Old Mill ice cream shop in town was really great and Jaczs restaurant, 15 min or so away was quite fun with fast service and good food. Some fireworks sounded between 10 and 10:15 pm a couple of nights, after I had gone to bed, but ended quickly. The playground in Freedom had no shade. There is a playground in Alpine, which is a bit of a drive, that was really great. One of the best I've seen in a small community. It had everything the kids liked.

Family Fun

Awesome base camp for a quick family getaway, kids loved the pool table, air hockey and game closet. Easy access to the Salt River for a kayak adventure and other hiking fun. Kitchen was a great size, room for our large group of 16, hot tub was awesome, as was the ample grass in front and back.
