Pros:The location was perfect. It was close enough to run back and forth from the beach to the house when we forgot things. The games were perfect for entertaining our kids in the evenings and on a rainy day. We had plenty of space and beds to accommodate everyone. The pull-out beds were actually comfortable! Cons: The house could use a deep clean for sure! It wasn’t horrible, but there were little things that definitely should have been taken care of (something splattered on the wall in the kitchen, crumbs/food under the mattresses in the pull-our couches, stains on the mattress covers). The previous guest must have put fresh-caught fish in the fridge because it had a horrible fishy smell that finally dissipated after a couple of days. Just a couple of notes for future renters:Definitely bring jugs of water for filling water bottles and the coffee pot! Even with a filter it was hard to drink (no fault of the owner). Make sure you bring your own shampoo, body wash, etc. We had forgotten ours and I didn’t worry about it as other rentals I’ve stayed at usually have some leftover from other guests. No extra supplies here! Same with condiments and cooking supplies (there were some seasonings). Neither of these would deter me, but might save a future guest a last-minute trip to the store. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay! We had a great time with family. With a couple of minor improvements, this would have been a 5-star review!

We booked this sweet little House for my daughter’s Sweet 16 trip. It was the perfect size for myself, sister in Law and 5 teenagers. Perfect house for making memories that will last forever. We will definitely book again.

Nice house, premium toilet paper!

Loved the shuffleboard! Huge hit with the kids, We did a tournament with the family. Super fun! Very easy walk to the beach, just takes a couple minutes. Nice having two full bathrooms, the sinks aren't behind the bathroom door so anyone can use while someone is in the shower which is a nice convenience.

Great location, super clean and nice, would rent again!

We rented this beach house for a long weekend getaway and it was perfect! The house was very clean and had all of the amenities and the beds were very comfy. Swan Lake is the perfect little area in Surfside! Don’t let the house being on the 2nd row prevent you from renting. It’s a very quick and easy walk back and forth from the house to the beach and you still have a great view of the beach! The things I appreciate when renting a beach house are cleanliness, comfy beds, cool AC, comfy couches and location to the beach and this house checks all the boxes! I wouldn’t hesitate to rent again. Booking, check in and out was very easy and we didn’t have any issues at all.

Updated house close to beach!

This was our first time at Surfside and this house was a perfect fit for our group. It’s nicely decorated and had nice little touches like charging ports on the bedside tables and a place to rinse sand off your feet on the lower level. We also loved that we could park in the shade below the house. Beach access was an easy walk over the nearby walkway. The younger ones in our group really liked the bunk room and the shuffleboard and video game in the main room. Overall a great find!

Great place overall!

The house was very clean and the beds were very comfortable! The beach was very easy to access! Plenty of pots and pans to cook with. The video game and shuffleboard initiated some intense competition! Our family had a blast. The only down side to this house is the smell of the water, it smells like rotten eggs. The odor is so strong that many of us were gagging while taking a shower. I do believe it is an issue of the area not just this house, the neighbors water smelled the same way. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

What a wonderful weekend. The home was very well equipped down to many USB chargers throughout. Shuffleboard and the Basketball Game were a hit with everyone. Everything was well labeled and easy to find. Beds and sofa sleepers were very comfortable. We hope to come again in the future.

We had a great stay. Good location. Easy access to the beach. Great home for our family. Kids loved the games and shuffleboard. Had one issue come up and Valerie and property owner were fantastic to work with.
