I contacted them because the hotel we booked through them locked the lobby doors at 11 pm., didn’t answer the night phone posted on the window, and we were unable to get back into the room we paid for until morning. The hotel was Casco Bay Inn in Maine, just fyi and we froze in the car because there were no other rooms available in the area. Hotel.com offered no refund or credits and I will never use them again. Who locks lobby doors at 11? We were on vacation and they ruined it

The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The property itself is somewhat outdated. However cleanliness trumps it all! Easy drive into downtown Freeport. Reasonable price. We did not try the breakfast. Overall very good place to stay.

Young man at front desk was not very friendly maybe he just didn’t understand English. Upon arrival room was hot with a strong musty odor like it had been closed for awhile. Air conditioner worked well room appeared to be clean bed was okay.

Casco Bay Inn was a great place to stay for coming to Freeport for a short stay and close to many nearby attractions. The rates were the most affordable compared to other hotels in the area and the rooms were clean and well kept. Additionally the staff were very accommodating as to our late arrival. I highly recommend and will be booking here in the future!

The hotel is run down. Stains on floors, old banged up furniture, walls that need paint, and it smelled weird. Not sure how this place has 4.2 stars on Expedia. Had my wife been with me she would have said we’re leaving.

I had a beautiful stay for the duration I was there. There was no cause for concern, the property exceeded my expectation. One thing I was recommended is home cooked breakfast with varieties. Not just and cupcakes. The coffee is great tho, for a $121 per day. Otherwise safety wasn’t any issue, transportation not really good. Uber everyday to and fro, make the trip more costly. I like the hotel.
