Stunning Views Over The Bay Of Cannes
The house is situated in a private gated Park 10 minutes from Mandelieu. The house sits some 500m above sea level with sweeping 180 degree views of the bay of Cannes & the L'esterel national Park. Main level: Kitchen, dining room, fireplace hang out area and a large outdoor furnished terrace with the most wonderful views over the bay of Cannes and the mountains, master bedroom with a double bed (180cm), Bath and toilet. Lower level: 2 bedrooms (one with a large furnished terrace offering exceptional views over the bay and mountains) this bedroom has a double bed (180 cm) the other bedroom has 2 single beds (90cm), 1 bathroom and toilet and a utility room with Washing Machine, drier and a fridge and coffee machine. Pool level: Fully equipped outdoor kitchen with barbecue, large Terrace with beautiful pool approx 4m x 7m. Pool area has 6 sunbeds, diningtable, sittingarea and a outdoor lounge bed on a level up. The entire house is decorated tastefully with different designs from our travels around the world. Geant Casino Supermarket is at the bottom of the mountain, a 10 minute drive away. Very private property.
Excellent Value for Money in Secluded Gated Community
This is the second time we have stayed in this property. The owner is excellent and responsive if there are any problems. It is a perfect property for a family with teen children with plenty of space and areas for relaxation. The private secluded park is fantastic for access to the Massif de l'Esterel for hikes, including Mont Vinaigre. Highly recommended.
We spent a week at Austin's house and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was a perfect base to explore the French Riviera.
The house has all the modern facilities you would expect from a luxury holiday home. It is set on 3 levels and each of our family had their own favourite place to find peace and quiet, though it was a bit of a rush to get to the "Day Bed" first. We spent a lot of our time on the deck and also on the balcony. The pool allowed us to cool off during the heat of the day and then relax in the peace and quiet of the hills.
Every room and every seat is built around the magnificent view over Cannes and you can't help but be in awe every time you look.
This is one of those places that you will never forget!
You know how sometimes, you see the brochure pictures, but are then let down when you arrive, well the opposite happens here. Whilst the house photos are accurate, it's position just does not translate. By day the bay is stunning, and by night it is transformed into a dancing show of lights.
We were a family of four with two teenage children and we all enjoyed the houses ample facilities. Our welcome from the lovely Isabelle was first class, as was the chilled bottle of rose provided by the owner.
We have been renting houses for nearly 20 years, and this was the best so far.
I defy you not to have the best time here.

Perfect area and nice view over the bay of cannes
My friends, my girlfriend and me spent 1 week in this fabulous Villa. The Villa is located in a private area in the mountains near Mandelieu and Cannes. We enjoyed the spectacular view of the sea and the mountains. The villa itself is comfortable, airy and well equipped. (stereo system, TV, dvd player, Wi-Fi, hairdryer, washing machine, dishwasher, iron etc.).
The Pool area with his perfect view is perfect for relaxing and chilling out. The kitchen in the house and the outdoor kitchen is well equipped.
Everything is to 100% like the photos and the description it shows. And there is anything what you need and you couldnÂŽt find it, Jean Claude (the park Manager) does everything that you feel comfortable. He is really a smart and friendly guy, it was nice to meeting him.
The same is to say about Austin Hutchison the owner of the Villa. He is also a very friendly guy.
We want to say thank you for the perfect week and the uncomplicated handling with booking. We can recommend the villa and itÂŽs a beautiful area to spent time. But donÂŽt forget, without a car its very hard to visit, to explore and to shop in the area around Cannes.
So we say it again, we recommend the villa and it gets 5 stars.
The property is perfectly situated in the Massif de l'Esterel with amazing views of the massif as well as the bay of Cannes. Its magical garden, wonderful pool were perfect for a family of 5 with three older kids (10/13/15). However, the amount of stairs would not be appropriate for older people or families with very young children. The gated park is very quiet and secure with fast access to supermarkets in Napoule and the beaches of the Corniche de l'Esterel. The Mont Vinaigre is within hiking distance from the property. The house itself is well kitted out and was perfect for our standards.
Nice house with great views and nice pool -- note no WiFi
The property is located in a gated community up in the mountains. Very safe and private, amazing views, nice and clean pool, strategic location within driving distance to countless attractions, but keep in mind there's nothing to see or do in the close vicinity and it's a 15 minute drive to next supermarket. The house is spacious but grounds were not as clean and well kept as shown in the picture, outdoor cushions were medium to heavily soiled and could have use a wash. We were surprised to find out there's no WiFi even though it was shown as available when we booked (listing has now been updated) and this caused a major headache due to work obligations. Owner told us to use cellular data and tried to find a hotspot, which was unsuccessful. There was a very noticeable smell of heating oil around the house and especially in the lower floor (bedroom); we notified the owner and no action was taken during our stay. The bedrooms were odd and none felt particularly comfortable. While there are a definitely a lot of appliances and "equipment" in and around the house, a lot of it is not functional, old/and or broken. Similarly, lots of cookware but much of it unusable. Overall we had a good time but and probably would not return. Considering the premium price we paid, there are better values to be found in the area.
Wonderful place, very beautiful with a Great Lake close by and aproachable host with time spent checking in. Just far enough away but still easily accessible from the busier coast line, local fabulous restaurants, walking and vineyards. The house, garden and pool itself quite magical. We would rebook.
Just back from two glorious weeks at this stunning house about 15-20 minutes from Mandelieu and Theoule sur mer. The house is beautiful - equipped with everything you could need and beautifully furnished. The pool area, the day bed, the outdoor terraces all face what is truly the most stupendous view imaginable - a hazy shimmer first thing in the morning and bathed in pink light in the evening, it was hard to drag yourself away to explore the surrounding region. And what a region! From the heavenly beach at L'Aiguille in Theoule to cocktails in Cannes; Michelin-starred meals in Mougins; quintessential Provencal towns such as Valbonne in the hinterland behind; an embarrassment of art (see Fondation Maeght and the Chapelle Sainte Rosaline); walks in the Esterel; visits to wineries, there is literally something for everyone and every interest can be fulfilled within a 30-40 minute radius of the house. And then you have to leave time for floating in the pool, reading on the day bed or just looking at the view. We have stayed in houses the length and breadth of Provence over a period of about 15 years but this location (and this view) are unsurpassed. Highly recommended.
My husband and I were lucky enough to have this wonderful home to ourselves for the week. From the moment we arrived and escaped the crowds we were able to just sit back, enjoy the view and truly feel on holiday.
The house is well equipped with TV, Sky etc but the most important thing it offers it the most wonderful views over the bay of Cannes and absolute tranquility, it was a true sanctuary away from the August crowds.
The outside eating and relaxing areas and a leisurely dip in the pool were perfect and having stocked up at the easy to reach supermarket we were able to cook and relax over lazy dinners outdoors. Assuming you have a car thereâs plenty to see and do within 30 minutes drive should you feel the need to tear yourselves away from the view.
We have rented several places in the last few years and Austin was great to deal with. Everything was exactly as described and he was always available for questions as was the lovely welcoming Isabelle.

Stunning house, can't wait to go back!
Austin the owner was so helpful from start to finish, and in between when we had yet more questions! Always a prompt reply and extremely useful information provided before the holiday. The house is simply stunning and the views are better than the pictures! cannot fault the house, the amenities and we would love to return next year. You need a car for sure, and there is a supermarket nearby and Cannes is only a 25 minute drive along the scenic coastal road. If I could give it 6 stars I would, absolutely loved our time here. thanks Austin!

simply stunningly beautiful
We have spend our honeymoon in that wonderful house last year and weÂŽve enjoyed every second. ThereÂŽre so many lovely places on the premises, we just had to decide which we liked best.. Taken by itself, the sea- and "Cannes-view" is just invaluable but in coupled with the terraces, the pool, the caring and absolutely extraordinary interior (inside and outside the house..) and the whole environment(....) you just think you might have died and revived in heaven:-) You will be missing nothing on earth at that place. Everything including mailing with Austin and the locally administration went perfect and everybody was just very nice, attentive and uncomplicated. We would love to come back again! Thank you and be sheltered! Rebecka and Ralf from Germany
