Your own private entrance leads you to a comfortable, large living area, sunroom, dining area and private screened in porch. Enjoy the serene bedroom and spacious bathroom, with linens & towels provided. Keurig, Convection Toaster Oven, Microwave, Medium size Fridge with Freezer, Basic Kitchen Utensils & Dinnerware, & Small Gas Grill also provided. This delightful home is located in a quiet neighborhood, perfect for walking or jogging and even has private Sound access with a sandy beach - a perfect spot for launching kayaks or just enjoying the peace. 5 minutes from public beach access. Rent a 4x4 vehicle from Fish Tales, located just around the corner from Marsh Mellow. Come for a few days, or a few weeks!

Accueil trÚs chaleureux de Jacquie et Dennis. TrÚs propre et prÚs des commodités. Endroit calme et propice au décrochage de la vie trépidante. Nous y avons passé 2 semaines entiÚres et espérons revenir un jour.

What a hidden little treasure this place was! So cute, immaculate, so many little extras, overlooking the marsh, and even has a swing facing the marsh! Jackie was wonderful to communicate with, and so accommodating! We look forward to being able to come back again, and hopefully for more than one night!

Jackie's place is a diamond! It's very private and so nice to be surrounded by beautiful plants, butterflies and birds. If you're into nature, this is a quiet, tranquil spot. We had a rain day and the comfort that the apartment offered was beyond compare! Jackie is a great host and all communications are excellent. We hope to return to Hatteras again someday - and will stay at Marsh Mellow.

Jackie was an amazing host - anything you need, she has it. Extra blankets, fans, hairdryer, utensils, etc etc. When I mentioned that we were traveling for my partner’s birthday, she even left a dessert in the fridge for us. The sunroom was perfect for reading and candlelit dinners at sunset. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Jackie and her property is SUPERB! She kept us informed and remained in contact on our journey east. The space is gorgeous and VERY clean. We felt at home there. Everything was fresh, easily accessible and convenient. She prepared a snack for us, as well as provided some drinks, coffee and waters for us as well. She went completely out of her way to make sure we had the best stay! The apartment is decorated perfectly and outside, the gardens are stunning and perfectly capture the beauty of the area. We LOVED Marsh Mellow and cannot recommend it enough! Thank you Jackie for a beautiful stay. We loved every moment there! Xo!

My husband and I decided on a quick one-night trip to the south of the OBX for my birthday. This was our first time here. Not only was the room so welcoming and homie, but we also got some delicious donuts provided by Jackie! (Thank you!) We also got suggestions for dinner and breakfast from Jackie and the dinner was amazing. It the weekend trip even more sweet. Thank you Jackie!
