Comfort and solitude on the Outer Banks

My husband and I loved this comfortable little cottage. It was well appointed with everything we needed to enjoy our stay near the ocean. We especially enjoyed having our coffee on the screen porch. The hosts were very accessible and acccomadting

It was ok

It was just ok. We stayed in Duck, here in Frisco, and in Beaufort this week. Frisco house was the most expensive and most disappointing. Not clean, found hair in the towels that did not belong to me or my wife, sheets smelled sour, roaches in the house, and one of only three outlets in the bedroom didn’t work. Shower floor is very slick, shower is tiny and you have to run around to get wet. Very disappointing.

Wonderful Woodsy Retreat

Great location, close to everything and the owner's daughter met us there for check in. The daughter runs the stable (must bring your own horses) and the parents run the two cabins as well as the Cockeyed Clam Restaurant up the road which we went to and really enjoyed. Be sure to bring bug spray if visiting during the summer, early spring/fall.

Perfect secluded getaway

What an absolutely amazing property! We loved everything about our stay! They have thought of everything for this little place and it was heaven! The best part is you are just minutes from everything but the cabin is SO secluded! I mean you are in a quiet, peaceful hidden gem! We will definitely be back!
