Create everlasting memories with your loved ones as you relax in the home's spacious screened-in porch with partial canal views, or kick back inside in comfortable central air conditioning. This home has room for guests to relax no matter their relaxing style. The home is set close to a canal that reaches Pamlico Sound, making it a perfect retreat for guests who bring kayaks, canoes, or stand-up paddleboards. If you're coming back from a journey, just set wet clothes to go in the private washer/dryer. The full kitchen with full-size appliances (plus a kitchen island that doubles as a breakfast bar with room for three) is sure to be the site of delicious meals and tales from past adventures.

VERY DISAPPOINTING

The accommodations were fine--clean and comfortable. What was VERY upsetting to us is that the description read: "Dog-friendly, waterfront home with sound access". Another description said "sound view". We chose this property because we wanted to be waterfront or at least be able to see water. It was impossible to do either from this property. There were so many high trees and properties in front of us that we could not even see one inch of the water, and certainly were not waterfront. In order to get to the ocean I had to weave my way through several homes and then climb over a sand dune and slide down because it was too steep/lick to walk upright. We had driven 7 hours each way to at least be able to see water. We could have stayed home because the surroundings of the property could have been anywhere. We were also very disappointed with VRBO which I assume is now under the management of VACASA. I spoke to them twice and they said the local manager would get back with us because we either wanted to be moved to another location or refunded due to the false advertising, no one ever called us back even though they assured us we would hear from the local office. Quite frankly, it ruined our entire trip because the main requirement was being waterfront or at least viewing it, none of which were possible. We have used VRBO several times and been very happy but now we are very uncomfortable because there is no guarantee that the description or pictures are accurate.

A great dog friendly place!

Very clean, the property management company had great communication from checking in to checking out. The location is awesome, right in the heart of Frisco and a short drive to the ferry to Ocracoke! We love being able to bring our four legged baby on our trips so we were very happy that they accepted dogs!

Very basic, but relatively clean and comfortable. It's right on HWY 12 and has an apartment below making it a little noisy at times. Don't leave anything out in the kitchen because the little ants will get it. But we have this problem at home sometimes.
