The Space:
The crisp mountain air greets you as you step onto the porch, steam curling from the hot tub while the valley hush settles around the cottage. Snowâkissed trees frame the sunroom, where sunlight filters through large windows onto warm wooden floors. Inside, soft lighting and simple comforts invite you to unwind, whether youâre sipping coffee while watching the woods or settling in for a quiet evening under a sky full of stars.
Sleeping arrangements
Two bedrooms comfortably sleep up to four guests. The master bedroom offers a queen bed dressed with fresh linens, while the second bedroom features a set of bunk beds. Extra pillows and blankets are provided for chilly nights. A spacious loft provides a cozy spot to read or gather, though it is intended for lounging rather than sleeping.
Living spaces
Radiant heating keeps the main living area snug throughout the colder months. A Smart TV and fast WiâFi support relaxed evenings or a productive work session at the dedicated workspace, which is set apart by its own door. The sunroom, with its wooded views, is perfect for morning coffee or watching snowfall drift through the trees.
Kitchen & dining
A full kitchen lets you prepare everything from hearty breakfasts to comforting dinners at your own pace. The adjacent dining area keeps the group connected, making shared meals feel effortless and enjoyable.
Outdoor living
The hot tub is available yearâround and feels especially soothing on brisk evenings. A private backyard includes a fire pit, BBQ grill, picnic table, and a patio space where you can step outside whenever the weather allows. Lake access is just a short walk away, with a path leading to a dock for quiet moments by the water. The yard is not fully fenced, so pets should be supervised.
Location & surroundings
A 15âminute drive brings you to downtown Front Royal, where restaurants, shops, breweries and wineries await. Shenandoah National Park is also about 15 minutes away, offering winter hikes and scenic drives. The setting remains peaceful throughout the year, giving you easy access to both nature and local amenities.
Perfect for
Petâfriendly families, couples seeking a tranquil retreat, or friends looking for a quiet base near nature will feel at home here. Selfâcheckâin, free onâsite parking and a private entrance make arrival and departure smooth.
Notes
The indoor fireplace is decorative only and cannot be used. A very slight smoke scent remains from previous owners; most guests do not notice it, but those highly sensitive may prefer another stay. Our cleaning team sweeps the deck, stairs and walkways before each arrival, yet leaves may appear seasonally. Cats are not allowed due to allergies.
