Welcome to Ridgeline Retreat, your newly renovated Shenandoah Valley vacation home! Escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, and enjoy all of the luxuries of an end of the road, peaceful getaway. Less than 15 minutes from Shenandoah National Park and downtown Front Royal, you can embark on an adventure, dine, wine or simply unwind without ever leaving the 2 acre secluded property!

Our home is perfect for a home base for your adventures. It also is well suited for those looking to escape the city, or have a quiet place to write and work. We also work with traveling professionals and insurance relocation specialists, ask about our monthly stay rates. Whatever you need, our home can accommodate!

Inside, your group can spread out over 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. The large bay window in the living room floods the main floor with natural light. A six person dining room opens directly to the deck which is an outdoor oasis complete with a gas grill, propane fire pit, outdoor dining, and cornhole. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and baking. Downstairs, you’ll enjoy a unique entertaining game room with a large wooden bar, Foosball table, classic arcade games, a four person card table with poker set and board games, a 58" smart ROKU HDTV, electric fireplace, and another three quarter bathroom. This space opens to a patio that features a NEW 7 PERSON HOT TUB!

We love hosting families and have made this home a vacation destination for both kids and parents. The home is equipped with extra accommodations to make family travel easier, including high chair, pack n play, and safety features like outlet covers. Kids will be entertained with books for all ages, games, video arcade games, and a 32" ROKU TV in the bunk room.

We strive to provide an impeccably clean space and go above and beyond to anticipate and meet your needs so you can simply relax and enjoy your vacation to the fullest. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to earn your five-star review!

In the Shenandoah Valley you will find:

- In addition to Shenandoah National Park there are thousands of acres of National Forest for hiking, mountain biking, and rock climbing! Wildlife abounds as deer frequent our property and can be seen all times of the year. Guests will have access to the entire home. Please do not enter locked areas, including the owners closet and shed.
There is parking for 4 vehicles in the uncovered, gravel driveway.
A well maintained, 0.2 mile gravel road leads to the home.
Two stairs required for entry into the home.

This property was AMAZING!!! The house was spacious, clean and in a great, quiet area. My children loved the game room and we had a great time watching movies as a family in the family room. Unfortunately we were not able to use the hot tub due to the weather but it was a great addition. I would HIGHLY recommend this property to anyone. Corey, the owner, was also AMAZING! I would DEFINITELY stay here again

House near the Skyline Drive

The house is large and comfortable, and easily accessible. I would not say it's secluded as there are several house quite nearby. There is an amazing game room in the basement if you have kids. We enjoyed driving on the Skyline Drive, only 20 minutes from the house. There is a view of the mountains from the deck. The hot tub looked inviting but it was much too cold for us to try it out. We asked for an early check-in and the host was able to accommodate us.

Sisters weekend

Wonderful deck with fire pit- saw deer just outside several nights. Loved the hand soap and other amenities in the bathrooms. Front Royal has a nice downtown, wheelchair friendly and wonderful bakery and ice cream shop

Cool house for family fun

Our group of two grandparents, one aunt, and two grandchildren found Ridgeline Retreat to be a great spot. Kids enjoyed the lower level arcade, while we could take day trips for outdoor fun. Kitchen was well equipped, and 3 bathrooms were a plus. We enjoyed using the decks facing the woods Would rent again

Virginia vacation

Wonderful location although a little bit out in country, about a 7 mile trip to Front Royal. Beautiful view and quiet. Very neat and clean with a lot of amenities. We and our guests enjoyed are stay very much. Thanks to the owner and manager who were very helpful.

Bachelor Party Lodge

Everything was perfect! We had a group of 7 friends and we all able to comfortably sleep between the beds and the couches, but I imagine that some younger children would enjoy the top bunks. There was plenty of entertainment for all ages and we especially had fun playing poker with our group. Hot tub was great and location was great to. No complaints here!!!

Rent with Caution

*Rent with Caution* First off, this property was fantastic. The owners did a great job with this location, great amenities, VERY clean and overall a good location for visiting Shenandoah. Our disappointment is with the lawn service and the way it was handled. The lawn was not mowed upon our arrival, no problem.. We contacted the owner and he quickly arranged for the lawn to be mowed. The gentleman who mowed the lawn, Matt, of Shenandoah Valley Property Maintenance Company, turned his blades on while on the gravel road, sending rocks into our vehicles and even over the house to the deck where 4 adults were sitting. He instantly proceeded to mow at about 1/4 throttle. Our vehicles were dirty from the gravel roads, so the severity of the damage wasn't apparent until they were home and washed. It's been estimated approximately 14k worth of damage. We notified the owner, spoke with the gentleman who mowed the lawn and he denied any responsibility. Unfortunately, the owners of the property also don't want to get involved, so we are stuck filing our own insurance claim. While we loved this property, we are very disappointed that no one wanted to take responsibility for the situation.

Fantastic!

First of all, this was probably the cleanest VRBO I’ve ever stayed at - it was spotless! Nice decor and touches throughout; amenities were on point too (games, bar area, fire pit, poker table, hot tub, and more). We were also within 10-20 minutes of all kinds of activities, like Front Royal dining/shopping, Skyline Drive hiking/scenic views, and wineries. Additionally, the beds/linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was easy to cook in since it had everything we needed and more. Loved the Ridgeline Retreat!

As advertised- family and pet friendly near Shenandoah NP!

My group (4 adults, 3 children- aged 7 & 3, and 2 dogs) stayed here for a long weekend mountain getaway and it was exactly what we hoped for. We were close to Shenandoah NP to do some hiking and wineries/breweries (including kid/pet friendly ones!) for lunch afterwards. The house itself was as advertised-- super spacious for our needs, the kiddos made especially good use of the furnished basement. The host was responsive, including keeping us in the loop with updates from the power company when the power went out for an hour or so our first morning there! We 100% would stay here again!

Beautiful home and location!

The house was immaculate and as pictured. Hot tub was amazing and fire pit/grill worked well. Snacks and toiletries were a wonderful unexpected touch! TJ responded to messages in a timely manner and offered great suggestions for food/activities. Would definitely stay there again.
