How close is The Far View Retreat | Hot Tub + Scenic Views to the airport?
This cabin is 42.3 mi (57-min drive) away from the Martinsburg, WV (MRB-Eastern West Virginia Regional) airport, the closest popular airport to the property.
The cabin was spacious and well equipped. The rooms were clean and comfy. The hot tub was clean and refreshing after a long hiking day. Lovd the covered deck for watching sunrises and the deer. I heard a coyote howl early one morning.
This place was amazing. Just as described. The screened in balcony was a favorite as was the well equipped kitchen. Best pans and knives I've seen at any vacation rental! When we arrived the place was beautifully decorated for fall. We saw deer every day as well as several different types of birds. The hot tub was nice and relaxing. We spent a whole week at the cabin and would gladly spend another. I would advise to try to arrive there the 1st time while it's still light out because the twisty-turny roads up the mountain can be a little nerve-wracking.
Itâs rare for us to be so resounding on any review but this Blue Mountain gem is worth every penny. From all the amenities anyone would want to the breathtaking sunrises this cozy home just bursts out with âWelcomeâ. Mattâs responsiveness to any and every need is to be commended. Our extended stay made our new home wait well worth it. With wineries a stones throw away and an arboretum and beautiful State Park close by thereâs plenty to do âoff the mountainâ. Youâll throughly enjoy this part of the Shenandoah Valley.
This cabin was great for our weekend get away near to the valley's wine country. Everything is modern, comfortable, and available-- there is no roughing it.Almost everything is well labeled so you know where to find whatever you're looking for. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment, which is good because there's not many places to eat in the immediate area. We found everything to be clean and in working order. Nice view of the hills off the back porch. Would definitely stay again. Make sure your first time getting to the house is during day light-- The road up the mountain winds and turns and is not well lit. It's easy after the first time haha, but worth getting to know wen you can clearly see it.
This is a great house right in the middle of winery country. Checkin was a breeze. The owner provided the pertinent information well ahead of our arrival. The house is beautifully kept with many amenities. We took advantage of the hot tub after a day of traveling to several local wineries. We will definitely plan to come back in the spring or summer months to check out the beautiful views from atop the mountain.
Perfect little cabin in a great location.be place was well stocked and clean. Hot tub was very nice and worked well. Lots of wildlife around the cabin and great view in the back. Front Royal is a cute town. Would recommend and stay again.
Great place to come and unwind from everyday life. My husband and I had a wonderful time here. The place was perfect and I will have to say stocked with top of the line kitchen necessities. Hot tub was awesome as well looking out into the view was breathtaking.
Matt was a wonderful host and very accommodating and thorough with instructions
We would highly recommended staying here
Allison and Chuck
Peaceful property, nice sunrise views, clean and very accommodating!
We took a few days to stay at this little slice of heaven in the mountains which was easily accessible but yet offered enough privacy to feel secluded.
Everything we could need or want was there for us. The Cabin was clean, welcoming and was comfoetable. We spent many hours on the screened in porch playing cards, at the main floor dining table with a puzzle and sunsets in the hot tub. Would come back again for sure!
The kitchen was awesome and the big screen in the basement made for some epic movie nights. The flooring on the main level was a little hazardous as some pieces stabbed in our shoes but I would highly recommend this home!
AMAZING VIEWS
All you need to bring are cloths and groceries. All the amenities provided were fantastic, with a well stocked kitchen for cooking. The cabin was superbly clean and well organized with all remotes, cabinets, and drawers clearly labeled, the bedding, linens, and pillows were of nice quality. An online guidebook tells you everything you need to know including local places to eat or grab groceries once checked in. The hot tub provided a wonderful way to relax and enjoy the view or stars, was very clean and well maintained. The customer service was prompt and gracious. In addition, we really loved how the cabin was decorated for Christmas with beautiful lighted garland inside and out. The area is quiet, peaceful and the cabin a warm and cozy place to spend time and unwind. It was even better than the pictures!
Beautiful cabin with a view. Beyond our expectations.
I know this is a long review and this is the first time I have reviewed a rental but I was so impressed. Peaceful, surprisingly roomy, loved there are so many areas to relax in small groups. We like to gather together and there is room for that ,but sometimes it is so nice to split in groups. You could sit in the beautiful screen porch, living room, loft, awesome downstairs with plenty of seating, beautiful lighted fireplace was a hit, giant tv, for the younger set to game or watch movies, then the hot tub with a nice view. Our host Matt was amazing when I texted him he would get back quickly and was so accomodating. So much care was taken in putting this cabin together to make your stay comfortable. My grandaughter is in culinary school and I am quite the chef. Because of the discription of the kichen we planned our meals packed our food and crossed our fingers it was really true.We had 3 generations cooking together in the lovely kitchen with awesome high quality pans etc. I cant even list them all. We loved the glass trays we used for charcuterie and nice dinnerware set for meals. If I knew there was a vitamix there I would have done some planning and used it.. We are big coffee people. they have a coffee press, k cup, and a drip maker there. Kitchenaid mixer. Nice set of wineglsses. great bbq. All the beds were very very comfortable. Everyone said they loved their bed and slept so good. I would stay again when I am in the area and hightly reccomend
