If you know Lake Roosevelt, you know what a hidden gem it is. Unpopulated and underdeveloped, this beautiful lake stretches from Grand Coulee dam all the way into Canada. Endless beaches surround this river, dotted by an occasional home. This home was built with all the conveniences and amenities you'll need, so you just get to relax. Nestled in ten acres of secluded woods, the deer and wild turkeys race you down to the water. The long Summer days are spent cooling down in the lake any way you desire. In the evening, sit back on the huge deck and barbecue as the sun sets over the water. A perfect getaway in the spring and fall to enjoy the solitude that nature brings. The full kitchen and sleeping arrangements accommodate fifteen people or more. The rec room and games will provide fun for all through the evening. A new Starlink internet lets you conduct business with speed!
Wonderful Stay and Very Generous Host:Our large family enjoyed this lovely home in its remote location. It is well stocked with utensils, games and toys and made ready for enjoyment without much need for anything more than food and drink for your stay. It is a short walk to the river/lake and there is plenty of 'beach' to play on. The beach is sand and river rock so best to have water shoes to comfortably walk into the water. That said, it offered lots of opportunity for kayaking, canoeing and paddle boarding; all supplied by the host. There is a mooring buoy for a boat; the only thing guests have to provide. There is also a volleyball net and rope swing our family enjoyed immensely. Deer frequent the property as well as turkeys. The dining table on the deck is wonderfully large giving all of our large family a seat at the table. We truly enjoyed our stay and would go there again.
Truly a wonderful and special place. I wasnât sure what to expect, but boy did it knock our socks off. Everyone in our group had an excellent and comfortable stay. Place is exactly as described and more. 10/10
Great place to accommodate our family for Thanksgiving, lots of room for everyone. The lake was a short walk from the cabin, which was fun for all! The cabin was clean and well stocked with everything that we needed for our stay. The host was quick to reply back with questions we had and was available to reach out to us if needed. We will definitely stay again at this awesome cabin.

Cheryl was an excellent host for my large family get together. The property was wonderful along with the house. It was perfect with the second fridge for all the food we brought. We definitely want to stay again!
The property and beach area is beautiful! The water was crystal clear and warmer than I expected. We did lots of paddleboarding and fishing. We saw many deer and wild turkeys. The house is well stocked and comfortable. Cheryl called to make sure everything was ok. Would definitely book this property again. The only thing we had some issues with were the bees. Just couldn't eat outside.
Great access to the lake, plenty of amenities for outdoor fun, kitchen supplies and appliances, comfy beds, plenty of towels, etc. Hostess was next door and super helpful and friendly! Would highly recommend for fun family gatherings! We plan to come back again!
This is an absolutely lovely location. So remote and peaceful. The home was just as described, very well appointed and large enough to accommodate our tribe of up to 12 adults and 8 kids. Unfortunately for us, and certainly no fault of the friendly and helpful owner, Cheryl ,nearby wildfires and extremely poor air quality impacted the first 4 days of our trip. We made the best of it, but it was sad that most of our kids with our young grandkids left at least a day or two early because of the smoke. The later part of the week was gorgeous and we enjoyed all the water activities and fishing. Sadly, lesson learned in this age of environmental weather change and heightened wildfire conditions, we will be weary of planning family gatherings- anywhere across the state- the end of August. This is not meant to detract from this truly amazing home and property, we would come again, just earlier in the season.
This was our second time here and again, it was great!! The house is big enough to accomodate our 20 person family. We love the beach and could keep our boats right there. Any questions we had were answered quickly. Cheryl is great to work with. We will be back again!
We had a blast. Our annual family trip with eleven grandkids to swim, make memories and play and fish and relax.
Thank you Cheryl for sharing your amazing home.
Hidden gem! We stayed a week and made tons of memories. It was everything the owner said it was and more. If she'll have us back, we will be booking another stay for next year.
There is no way to say enough about this place! Everything was perfect. Beautiful house, well stocked kitchen, good amenities, nice beach, fun games...it just doesn't get better.
We love staying at Cheryl's cabin on Lake Roosevelt. Cheryl is an excellent host and has a very nice property. It is very secluded and yet is still connected to the world. We love this place and hope to visit many more times.
This is our favorite place to stay on Lake Roosevelt. The house is equipped with everything you need. It is clean. It has great access to the lake and it has plenty of entertainment even when the weather takes a turn for the worse. We do a yearly father/son spring fishing trip and the fishing is amazing. We also love the area wildlife. Golden eagles, bald eagles, deer, turkey and it seems like everything in between.
We appreciated staying here and it was well set up for our family gathering. The kitchen had enough dishes for everyone as well as cooking utensils and serving dishes. The wood stove was lovely on the colder days, and thereâs a good selection of games/puzzles for entertainment. It is well off the beaten path in a beautiful and peaceful setting.
Our favorite place to go. It's an amazing relaxing getaway! My grandaughter who is nine said when we were packing up " I hate to go home, I had so much fun!" We did make it across the lake and enjoyed the zip line. Cheryl is a wonderful host!
We had such a wonderful time. Eleven grandchildren together ages 5-12 swimming, fishing. paddleboards, kayaks. They laughed and played along with rock panting, playing board games, watching movies together. Many precious memories were made. Cheryl is a wonderful hostess. We love coming here. Thank you for sharing you home Cheryl!
