Newly renovated canal front home just a five minute walk to the beach!

The Beach house is located in a quiet area of Sea Isle on Galveston Island. It features an upper deck for relaxing over the water with a cup of coffee watching a beautiful sunrise, and a lower deck with a bar and flat-screen TV, and a propane barbecue. Fish from both decks or the community fishing pier, paddle about in our kayaks, or ride the bikes provided. Rent or bring a boat and keep it in the on-site boat slip. Keys for the fishing pier and boat ramp are available. Life is Beautiful! Enjoy!

The home has a large parking area, free Wi-Fi, three bedrooms and two baths, living and dining rooms, and a kitchen stocked with coffee pot, toaster, refrigerator, stove, oven, dishwasher and all pots & pans you will need.

For those who bring a computer, there is high-speed internet, an office desk and chair, a surge strip, and also a printer.

A child gate is available for safety at the top of the stairs, and a highchair and porta-crib are available. There are security cameras located on both the upper and lower decks.

For the beach, we provide towels, chairs, an umbrella, and kiddie toys.

This is a residential neighborhood. Quiet hours are from 10 PM.
No parties allowed!!

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at this home. The kitchen was well stocked with necessities, and it was a plus for having an air fryer. Kids enjoyed fishing off the canal as well as the neighborhood pier. The property was pet-friendly and provided pet bowls for guests to use. The safety gate at the top of the stairs was nice to have. We noticed, though we did not need it, that there were baby/toddler amenities (high chair & pack n play) stowed in the closet. Neighbors were nice as well!

The home was nice not many outlets. Beautiful scenery. In master room we found 2 dead roaches and in restrooms a live one. There were no life vest for kayaks. We went to celebrate a friends birthday unfortunately the hot tub was not in service also.

Great place and location! It was super clean! We were able to launch and leave the boat at the house which made it so easy to going fishing. Would definitely stay there again. Checking in and out was super easy!

The house was spacious and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and we had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The host was very responsive to all our questions and made the check-in/out process super easy. He very thoughtfully provided several lists of things to do and how to access the kayaks and the canal. The property offered great value for the price. We felt like we got a lot for what we paid. We had such a wonderful time and would definitely book this property again.

We enjoyed our stay. We loved the fact that the downstairs area by the canal/fishing pier had a gate so we could keep the little ones secure. Good location from beach and store. We would defintely rent again.

Sea Isle-Galveston

We stayed a month in Bob and Carmen’s home, and we had a very nice stay. The neighborhood was nice, it was safe and we made quite a few visits to the neighborhood Marina/bar/restaurant. We rented a golf cart so we could get to the beach a bit easier. The home was clean and the beds were comfortable. We really enjoyed the outdoor deck and we even caught a couple fish off it.

Don't Do It!

The stay started off badly when we entered the code and the door wouldn't open. The opener just told us the doorlock would not open because the deadlock was stuck. After multiple attempts, we called the owner. His response was to tell us WHY it didn't open. You may not be aware, but there is salt air in Galveston and it rusts things. Very educational, but completely unhelpful. Maybe if you know your deadbolt is rusted and doesn't work you should replace it. After innumerable attempts to get in (with no help from the owner) we broke it loose...I guess. It was 80 degrees when we arrived, so we adjusted the thermostat to 72. After about 4 hours it had cooled down to a sweaty 83. We left for several hours and turn off all the lights to cool it down. That brought it down to 81. AC is mostly a joke. Advertised a hot tub. It has one...with 2 ft of water in it and it doesn't work. This could be a great house. But, it needs some maintenance which the owner is obviously unwilling to provide. If it's going to be rented then fix what is broken and be receptive to the people who are renting it. Bring it up to livable standards. I would give this a hard pass.

Enjoyed staying at your place, we had lots of room for our family and loved

Enjoyed our stay at your place, we had lots of room for our family and friends that stopped by to visit !! My only complaint is that the AC didn’t get in the bunk bedroom and fans had to be put in there to help keep them cool. Master bedroom the same ( but cooler than bunk ) the only place the AC worked great was in front BR and when door was closed at night we didn’t get air !! I would walk by their door and feel cold air under the door ! My son closed the windows that were open and closed hurricane vents, that helped a lot, but rooms still hot and the washer didn’t have cold water coming through 
 hot only !!! Other than that the rest of the place was great and loved staying there !! I hope our next trip there, we’ll stay with you again ! Didn’t know if you knew these problems if not here they are and maybe be fixed before next renters come ! We had fun and enjoyed your place a lot. You might consider letting AC run on 72 instead of 75 !! Thanks Again !! Hope to see you next year if we go ..

Great location

Enjoyed walking to the beach and getting to use the boat lift for our boat. Bob is nice, the house is ok but needs a few repairs- faucet in the bathtub was broken and leaking, and the key was difficult to open downstairs area. Overall a good time was had by all though.

Great weekend getaway

We stayed here to celebrate my husbands 30th birthday with family and friends and had a great time. There was a situation with the ac going out but Robert was quick to answer my texts and calls and sent someone out asap to fix the issue for us. We had a lovely time otherwise.
