This beautiful house is located in the center of Garzeno, an ancient mountain village (700 meters above sea level) located 7 km from the beautiful Lake Como.
The house is FOR RENT and is suitable for 2 people (possibly a third person on a sofa bed). Comfortable even in winter ...... because there is a large pellet stove.
Garzeno is located in a wonderful hiking area in the mountains and near the woods.
Garzeno is 1 hour away from St. Moritz ......

Sejour lac de CĂŽme

Nous avons passĂ© une excellente semaine dans le chalet de Sergio et Samuela qui sont des hĂŽtes accueillants et sympatiques.La maison est propre et dĂ©corĂ©e avec goĂ»t.Je conseille vivement cette location au calme et proche des beaux sites du lac de CĂŽme. Le cafĂ© offert Ă  notre arrivĂ©e et on se souviendra du dernier soir oĂč nous avons dĂ©gustĂ© le gĂąteau spĂ©cialitĂ© de Garzeno toujours avec autant de chaleur chez Sergio et Samuela avec leur famille et amie. Continuez ainsi, ne changez rien. SĂ»rement que nous reviendrons chez vous. Claude et Patricia

Un chalet de conte de fée

Pour notre arrivée, Samuela et Sergio ont délégué Frieda qui parle anglais et allemand pour nous accueillir, ce qui a bien facilité notre installation? Et Ariena leur grande fille nous a accueillie avec un gentil mot rédigé en français. Le chalet est d'une propreté méticuleuse et trÚs bien équipé, rien n'y manque. Samuela et Sergio trÚs présents, mais également trÚs discrets nous ont indiqué un grand nombre de lieux à visiter, et de nombreuses promenades à faire à pieds. Nos 3 chiens ont également reçu un super accueil. Nous avons été invitées à déguster chez eux un gateau spécialité de Garzeno accompagne d'un verre de bon vin, et la veille de notre départ, "chùtaignes-partie" cuitent dans la cheminée au feu de bois. En résumé, il n'y a que de bonnes choses à dire, nous garderons un excellent souvenir de notre séjour.

Beautiful secluded getaway

We wanted to visit Lake Como but not stay in the usual tourist locations. We ended up booking this apartment which was halfway up a mountain. It had spectacular views and was silent. The pool is amazing with beautiful views of the mountains and lake. There are a couple of local restaurants and a bar plus a place to get fresh bread and pastries in the morning. We were made to feel very welcome by the amazing hosts/owners and their friend Frieda. Overall I can’t recommend Lake Como highly enough, it’s simply stunning with so much to see and do. We ended our trip with a day in Milan (about 90mins away) and had an amazing time in such a beautiful city. Thank you for everything!

In diesem Domizil hat man seine Ruhe. Die Vermieter sind gut erreichbar und sehr hilfsbereit. Obwohl es in der Woche immer wieder geregnet hat, konnten wir uns gut erholen. Das Schwimmbad konnten wir jederzeit nutzen. In der Wohnung ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht (was man nicht ĂŒber jede Fewo sagen kann).

Una bella esperienza

Samuela e Sergio sono davvero gentilissimi e ti fanno sentire subito a tuo agio. Lo chalet Ăš piccolino, soprattutto la camera, ma adatto a due persone e dotato di tutto. La piscina, separata dalla casa ma collocata proprio di fronte ha una vista pazzesca e vale la pena utilizzarla! Garzeno Ăš in un punto strategico per raggiungere sia il lago che delle belle passeggiate in montagna.

Unterkunft und Umgebung mit italienischem Flair

Toller entspanmter Urlaub. Sehr offene freundliche Menschen, sowohl Vermieter als auch die anderen Dorfbewohner. FĂŒr alle zu emphehlen die italienisches Dorfleben kennen lernen wollen und den Kontakt nicht scheuen. Viel Natur zu erkunden direkt vom Haus aus. Schöne enge Gassen wie sie typisch sind fĂŒr Bergdörfer (nichts fĂŒr ungeĂŒbte Autofahrer, speziell SUV).

Geweldig!

Wij hebben 5 heerlijke dagen doorgebracht in Garzeno. Geweldig om, tussen alle dorpsbewoners in, te kunnen genieten van onze vakantie. Je maakt echt deel uit van het dorp en de inwoners zijn ontzettend aardig en gastvrij. De absolute toppers zijn Samuela en Sergio, de eigenaren van het huisje. Ze zijn super aardig, behulpzaam en gastvrij...ze doen er alles aan om het hun gasten naar de zin te maken....en dat is zeker gelukt!. Het huisje is klein maar voldoet volledig, alles is aanwezig en functioneert goed. Het balkon is lekker groot en zonnig, wij hebben er iedere dag kunnen ontbijten en vaak ook 's avonds gegeten. Groot voordeel is ook dat er in Garzeno twee winkeltjes zijn (op loopafstand)waar ze werkelijk van alles hebben. Je hoeft dus niet naar beneden te rijden! De omgeving van Garzeno is werkelijk prachtig, om iedere bocht weer een geweldig uitzicht op het meer of de bergen. Wij hebben een hele mooie wandeling gemaakt naar de rivier met als eindpunt een Agriturismo en forellenkwekerij, een heel idyllisch plekje. Heerlijk geluncht daar en natuurlijk een lekkere forel gegeten. Wij hebben een geweldige tijd gehad in Garzeno, vooral dankzij Samuele en Sergio!

Relaxing and peaceful holiday in amazing part of Italy.

Just got back from a very relaxing holiday. Everyone we met was so friendly and welcoming. The scenery all around is amazing. Sergio and Samuela made us extremely welcome and we greatly appreciated their hospitality and that of Frieda and Jan. Highly recommended.

Real Italy

We were very warmly welcomed by the owners and their friends with a special dessert and coffee. The village is authentic Italy which is what we had wanted to experience and everyone was so kind and friendly. We could not have had a more beautiful time. The walk to the river was exceptional. The mountains wrap the village like a warm blanket The cottage is cozy and offers all the amenities for a comfortable home away from home. We look forward to returning to the village and it's wonderful people.

Semplicemente perfetto! Dotato di ogni confort e in ottima posizione!

io e il mio fidanzato abbiamo trascorso 3 giorni ospiti nello chalet! l'appartamento Ú stato perfetto per noi e i nostri 2 cani. È situato in una posizione comoda per muoversi ed dotato di ogni comfort! La famiglia proprietaria dello chalet poi ci ha fatto sentire veramente a casa...simpatici, gentili e premurosi ci hanno accolto in famiglia e hanno reso il nostro soggiorno perfetto, esattamente come lo sognavamo! Penso proprio ci torneremo presto perché merita davvero!

Es war sehr sauber, schön und gemĂŒtlich

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir herzlich empfangen und direkt zu einem Kaffee eingeladen. Ein hollĂ€ndische Freundin des Hauses wurde als Dolmetscherin dazu gerufen, obwohl wir auch mit etwas italienisch und englisch gut zurechtgekommen sind. Wenn es irgendwelche Fragen oder Probleme gab wurde uns sofort geholfen. Auch die Menschen in dem kleinen Ort selbst waren sehr freundlich. Wir wurden auf der Straße von allen, die vorbeikamen, gegrĂŒĂŸt. Fazit: Gerne kommen wir wieder, vielleicht auch mal im Sommer. GrĂŒĂŸe Nils & Steffi

A wonderful small house,perfect for two persons located in a lush valley

Located in the picturesque Garzeno mountain village, this home is small yet very comfortable; there are many trekking opportunities in the surrounding area, and the exquisite owners ,Sergio and Samuela are really helpful and welcoming. During my stay the temperature was a litte cold for the period, but the efficient pellet stove worked very well, as hot water and all the other things like Sat-TV etc... I would suggest this property for anyone who is looking for a peaceful yet not too isolated place (the lake it's just 10/15 minutes away by car); but above all, a special mention to Sergio and Samuela, two persons who have the uncommon gift to make you feel more like a welcome guest than a simple customer!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub. Das Haus ist sehr sauber und gepflegt. Man hat alles was man braucht. Am Pool kann man wunderbar relaxen. Great little chalet in a friendly village with incredible surroundings

A nice chalet located in an incredibly friendly little village of Garzeno where everyone is so nice we were so very pleasantly surprised. Hosts Sergio and Samuela are amazing, we were regularly invited for coffee, wine and snacks and they were extremely helpful for anything we needed. We also got introduced to a lot of people in the local community and soon after we knew a lot of locals and I cannot emphasise enough how friendly and helpful everyone had been. The nature around Garzeno is stunning, there are mountain hiking trails nearby, a few restaurants within walking distance and the lake is nearby but you will need a car. With a car, everything is easily reachable (you will need to learn to ride around somewhat narrow streets) so you can plan on visiting the lake attractions while having a place to sleep where it's always a bit cooler over night which is great. All in all, a very quiet place with nice strategic location and amazing local community. Once again, Sergio and Samuela, thanks for everything!

Great!

I spent 5 nights in the chalet together with my girlfriend. we had a wonderful vacation and we really enjoyed it. Sergio and Samuela are very very good hosts. We were invited for coffee, wine and pastry and had a nice evening with them. They made sure we have everything we needed (We needed a scale for the kitchen) and samuela brought it by first thing next moring. In conclusion we can only recommend staying in the chalet.
