Welcome to Sain Creek Retreat, nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Coast range mountains. Our cabin and facility is less than 1 mile from beautiful Hagg Lake recreational area. This paradise offers swimming, fishing, boating, hiking, biking, and even disc golf on forested trails. Just a few miles away is Tree to Tree adventure park, with zip-lines and an aerial obstacle course. This area of the Willamette valley is world renowned for its Pinot noir wine. The nearby small towns offer tasting rooms, local goods and bakeries. If you want a taste of the big city Portland is just 40 miles away.

Our cozy 1bedroom cabin sleeps up to 3 comfortably, with a queen bed and pull out sofa in the living room. This cozy 800 sq ft home is really the ideal couple's get away! Located on 20 acres of beautiful forested land, the home is well appointed with welcoming furnishings, convenient appliances, and a covered porch to enjoy the peaceful private surroundings. We have ample parking for boats and RVs. Our home also offers wheelchair accessibility. This is an operating horse facility, so Sorry no pets.

Sain Creek Retreat is a non smoking campus.

Please notice there is no WiFi available at our location. AT&T and T Mobil cell service is available however. Unplug and unwind at Sain Creek Retreat.

Mary (and the space) are wonderful
Mary and her space were incredible. She was extremely responsive. Even when I had lots of questions about how well-stocked the kitchen was for our holiday meal. When I expressed concern about not having cell service, because my parents get lost very easily, she bought a prepaid phone to make sure we felt comfortable. The space and Mary made a holiday weekend beautiful.

Wonderful hosts and beautiful setting
Mary and Magnus were wonderful hosts. Immediately helpful when we had an issue with the tv/dvd player. The Hagg Lake area is beautiful, so this a wonderful place to unwind, enjoy nature, and take a short trip to the lake for hiking or water activities. We also enjoyed Tree to Tree Adventure park zip lines and obstacle course. An absolutely wonderful family weekend! Thank you for sharing you vacation home with us!

Beautiful property
Loved how quiet and secluded the house was. We came up for a family weekend to go shopping and the zoo. This was the perfect place to come back to and relax in the evenings. The girls loved seeing the deer outside every morning!

Relaxing Getaway!
The property was beautiful! We loved how close it was to the lake and how quiet it was at night. Love the horse decor in the home. Small but cozy home. The host communicate before, during and after the stay which was very helpful plus we talked through a few issues that occurred during our stay. It was a hot weekend and the AC was not optimal so it was hot in the house but it was ok because we went to the lake. There was a old White couple in the neighborhood that asked my husband and I do we live in the area and then drove off which was weird. (We are Black and this town is predominately White). But other than that...all was good.

Wonderful and Relaxing Retreat
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sain Creek Retreat, it is a rejuvenating get away from the city. Mary and Magnus are absolute gracious and accommodating hosts and made our stay extra special with their kindness and excellent communication. The cabin is quiet and comfortable with a cozy deck for tea and conversation, and there are many uplifting books that we really appreciated. Our teen liked all the entertaining dvd's and having his own room with a tv. It's a short drive to beautiful Hagg Lake. We can't wait to come back to Sain Creek Retreat for a relaxing weekend in nature!
