This lodge was rebuilt after the 2016 wildfires and sleeps sixteen people. It is perfectly located within 5 minutes of downtown Gatlinburg and offers spectacular views of the Smoky Mountains from its three oversized decks.

Enjoy five bedrooms, each with its own full bathroom. 4 king suites! Two on the top floor, one on the main floor, and one on the lower level. All with a luxurious self-cleaning Jacuzzi tub. After a day of hiking, biking, or skiing, a long, lazy soak will feel like heaven! The fifth bedroom has 2 queen-over-queen bunk beds, perfect for kids or a family shared room. All bedrooms include a 50-inch HDTV and premium cable.

The Main floor family room leaves nothing to be desired. Large windows and doors opening onto the deck let in ample sunlight. In winter, the corner fireplace makes the room even more delightful. There’s plenty of room to sprawl out on the leather couches to watch a movie on the 50” HDTV, or you can curl up in the armchair with your tablet and take advantage of the free WiFi.

The dining area seats sixteen people. The table easily accommodates twelve, in comfortable chairs. Another six people can sit at the adjacent breakfast bar; the kids will especially love eating there “on their own” while the adults dine at the table. The breakfast bar doubles as an additional kitchen counter and storage space. The kitchen is fully equipped with stainless-steel appliances, a complete set of cookware, and ample tableware. In addition, you can find an outdoor grill to grill your favorite meats and vegetables.

Upstairs, between the top floor’s two bedrooms, is a spacious game room. Challenge one another to a round of pool, play cards or a board game at the pub table, or you can play one of the arcade’s twenty games. Or you can stretch out on the leather couch to watch TV or indulge in a well-deserved nap.

The lower level has its own attraction: a media room with a large flat-screen TV and an especially sumptuous leather couch. So comfortable is the seating, you may want to kick back in there even when you’re not watching a movie or the big game. The media room also has a wet bar, complete with a mini fridge and a popcorn maker. If you run out of snacks during your double feature, you won’t have to head upstairs to the kitchen.

Spanning the width of Damron’s Dream, the three decks are furnished with numerous rockers so that everyone can enjoy the sight of falcons soaring over the Smoky Mountains, the singing of wrens and warblers, and the crisp breeze. The lower deck has an especially wonderful spot for soaking up the surrounding beauty in a roomy hot tub.

This was the 2nd time we stayed at Damron's Dream. Overall, I love the location, game room, and the cleanliness, but it could use some maintenance. The stove needs to be replaced. The stove top burners will go on and off. It took us an hour to boil spaghetti noodles. The toaster doesn't work. The refrigerator decides when it wants to make ice, so don't count on it. There's no chalk for the pool sticks, so bring your own. Suggestions: put the directions on how to change the door code to something shorter in the check-in instructions and how to light the pilot light in the fireplace.

The space was perfect for our large group. Check-in and checkout were easy. We were traveling down for a soccer tournament. With three families, we had plenty of room and between the outdoor and indoor space, kids and adults had more than enough room. Each bedroom had its own bathroom which was wonderful. With 12 people that made all the difference with early mornings. The hot tub was clean and provided much needed relief after a day of playing (and cheering) and the game room was a kid favorite. Beds were comfortable and the rooms and house as a whole had everything we needed. We appreciated quick response from the owners when we had a couple of small issues. The response was quick and issues were resolved without delay. The location was perfect just outside of downtown Gatlinburg giving you the quiet of the country with the closeness of being about a mile away. Best of both worlds!

Had another great stay! Second year staying in this cabin. Definitely watch for the bears they didn’t hesitate to be in the Jeeps or on the porch seeing what they could get into. We knew better than to leave anything out but for others beware.

Location was perfect, about 5 min drive to downtown. Cabin was very clean, everything was in working order. No issues with wi-fi. Hot tub was clean and hot. Plenty of bedding and towels. This property is truly beautiful. The great view from the spacious balconies, perfect jacuzzi, comfortable beds and lots of sitting area to hang out with family and friends. Cabin was in a great location. However, cabin is in need of a lot of repairs. Only half of stove worked. Refrigerator would not keep drinks cool. Faucets were coming apart. Just to name a few.

Great Stay!

Overall we LOVED the cabin! It was the perfect size for our group and had a lot of great qualities. The art work was a tab bit creepy to us, yet we also seen the details of the work in it. Just felt different having 3D people looking at you in your bedroom. The kitchen sink leaked constantly, unless you slammed the handle off quickly. The stove had only one big eye that worked, the eye on the right side would turn on and then instantly stopped burning. That was a bit annoying when cooking and needing the big eye vs the small one. The trash can drawer was tough to pull in and out, so we just took the trash bags out and had them over a cabinet until that could stand themselves. The beds were comfy, tons of towels for everyone in our group, and the amenities were great. We really enjoyed our stay. We even got to see a BEAR. While sitting in the hot tub! We would definitely stay again!

Beautiful Home with great views!

We spent part of spring break week at Damron’s Dream & it was our favorite part of our trip. Plenty of room to spread out, play board games or enjoy the hot tub! We were a group of 9 with adults, college and high school aged kiddos. Beds and furnishings were tasteful and comfortable. Can’t beat the views!!!! The location was perfect too. Not too far from everything and quiet neighborhood. We will definitely be back & hope to return to Damron’s Dream.

Great Time!

A bunch of family members stayed here for Jeep Invasion. We had a great time! We were able to spread out to have our own space but come together to hang out also. Loved the area! There is a big bear in the area so be careful definitely not scared of people (did get into our Jeeps on 2 of the nights) lucky nothing got tore up.
