The Neighborhood:
This beautiful cabin is located in the Mountain Shadows Resort. There is an outdoor, seasonal pool and a playground for guests to enjoy. The cabin is very convenient to downtown Gatlinburg (a 10-minute drive) and several entrances to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, giving you easy access to hiking, scenic drives, and outdoor adventure.
Getting Around:
We recommend 4x4 wheel drive anywhere in the Great Smoky Mountains. The cabin features paved roads all the way up and is easy to reach in good weather, but 4x4 is always a good ideaâespecially during rain or winter conditions.
Other Things to Note:
âą Must be 21 or older to book this cabin.
âą This cabin sleeps 4 guests maximum.
âą Gas fireplace is seasonal and typically operates from OctoberâMarch, weather permitting.
âą Coffee maker is both Keurig and dripâplease bring your preferred coffee or K-Cups.
âą 4x4 drive is recommended for mountain travel.
âą There is active construction on a small cabin next door. While we have no control over the work, the builders have maintained a clean and respectful workspace.
âą Hot tub is drained, sanitized, and refilled between each guest stay. It may need time to reach full temperature on the check-in day.
âą Starter supplies of toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, and laundry detergent are provided.
âą Guests agree to use the website messenger for all communication, even if initial contact is made by another method.
âą Bears and all types of wildlife are very common in the area! Do not feed or bother the bears or wildlife! Please leave them alone. We have no control over wildlife. They are very protected here and part of our area. Secure your belongings and always lock vehicle doors.
⹠We have monthly pest control at all of our cabins.  Being in the Great Smoky Mountains, we are surrounded by nature and wildlife.  Ladybugs, millipedes, and other insects can be difficult to combat around this time of year, even with our constant pest control program in place.  It is not uncommon to see them occur in and around the cabin/condo, especially with the opening and closing of doors.  This is extremely common for the area and all cabins/condos.
