The cabin was clean and nicely decorated with a great layout, but we experienced several shortcomings during our stay. The closets had no rods, shelves, or hangers, and there were no dressers, which made unpacking and storing clothes difficult. The bathrooms lacked hooks for towels, and the seating in the common area was both limited and uncomfortable, making it hard to spend time together as a group. The bedding was also uncomfortable. The exterior could also use some attention, as weeds were noticeable at the entrance. We experienced a few technical issues with the lock but those were quickly resolved by the property manager. Location was great, close to Arts and Crafts Community and a short drive to the Gatlinburg downtown area.
The check in process was very easy. The home itself is beautifully decorated. The house could use some updatesi inside. When we opened up the kitchen cabinets a handle fell off. The door lock handle came off of the back door which we had to fix. The door in the master bedroom would not stay closed. All of the bedrooms are decorated beautifully, but the beds and pillows were extremely uncomfortable. The home could use some another couch in the living room. There is not a lot of seating for 8 people. The house is nestled in the woods and very quit and peaceful. We even got to see several bears during our stay!
