đ The Smoky Mountains are rich with nature and wildlife, which means occasional visits from small critters and insects are simply part of mountain life. We use a licensed pest control service with monthly treatments to minimize insects, but ladybugs are the one guest we canât keep out! Theyâre common in the fall and winter, when they gather near warm spots inside and outside the cabin. This is a normal seasonal event throughout East Tennessee. Our team cleans thoroughly before and after each stay to keep things comfortable. You may also spot local wildlife such as black bears or raccoons around the property â another reminder that youâre in the heart of the Smokies. đ»
