This is the second time we’ve stayed at the Betsy Ross House. It is very convenient for any activities in the area
easy walk to downtown. The house is clean and well appointed. The hosts are very generous with their welcome basket(s) and are easy to work with. The only issue is that you are sharing a house with an upstairs apartment and the walls are thin. We were unlucky on this visit that the neighbors were loud at inconvenient times.

Cute, clean, good location. Linens smelled so good! They have so many extra items like soaps, lotions, coffee, snacks, etc. we ran into a few minor issues but the property manager was easy to connect with and resolved issues quickly.

Family trip

Betsy Ross exceeded our expectations! The host provided us with so many treats. The beds were comfortable and pack n play was provided also. The house is literally a block away from downtown, it was so convenient. The house is clean and decorated so cute The kitchen has every necessity you could possibly need If we ever plan on staying in Gaylord again, this rental will be our first choice

Family wedding in Gaylord

I found the house on VRBO and it was even nicer than we expected. Very clean and comfortable! Any extras you needed, they were sure to have! I rate hospitality a 200%. Beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and shampoos, soap, lotion, etc! Coffee, creamer, Snacks! And, there is always plenty to do in Gaylord but we didn't have much time this trip. If we get back up there we will certainly want to stay here again. Thank you to Gene and his crew!

Great place to stay. Loved the host. Only negative was that the property is 3 units under one roof. The other tenants can be noisy. I didn't see any mention of this being a shared house in the listing.

Ski trip

This property is clearly managed by someone who takes pride in being a welcoming host. Upon arrival, the house is warm and inviting. As others have mentioned, having snacks on the counter and drinks in the fridge help you to settle in quickly. The house is right off of Main Street and, depending on weather, easy walking distance to many shops and restaurants. We used it has a home base for skiing at Treetops and it was an easy 8min drive. There is plenty of space to stretch out and both be together with family but also not be on top of one another. A great stay.

Color Tour

You couldn't ask for a better host than Gene. We had been in Harbor Springs all week and were meeting our son in Gaylord for his last DJ gig of the year. Gene was nice enough to let us check in early. We love the location. We walked everywhere! The snacks were also much appreciated. Thank you, Gene! Can't wait to come back!

Quick trip to hisit family

Had a great stay at this property! I didn’t rent a car and everything was in walking distance. Note to other guests: there are NOT ubers here, but they do have a couple taxi services. You just need to call and request a pickup, but it might a bit of a wait. Great restaurants a short walk away. Comfy bed and very well stocked with nice snacks and had everything you’d need to cook if you wanted to!

Excellent place and amazing host

The place was beautiful and was completely stocked with everything that you can ever need at a rental place. The place was right in the middle of downtown. Gene was amazing and very responsive, she even let us check out a little late on our request. I will definitely recommend this place and Gene was one of the nicest host we have encountered.

Perfect location

What a wonderful property! First the location is great being 1 street behind Main Street - close to shopping and restaurants. Bonus was there was a farmers market on Saturday and there was music on Friday night. Additionally, the hosts provided a stocked house! Gave extra goodies like muffins, fresh fruit and snacks. What a great touch. Kitchen was also fully stocked. Thank you for a great weekend.
