We recently stayed here and overall had a good experience. Edelyn, the caretaker, was amazing â very quick to reply and super helpful, which made everything easier.The location is great: close to the airport and grocery stores, and a short boat ride to the Coconut Club and Chat ânâ Chill. The private boat dock made renting a boat simple, and we loved having coolers and an ice machine for our trips. The guidebook was handy and the AC worked very well.A few things to note: thereâs no pool, which we knew but did miss. The house layout is a bit awkward, which we were aware of but wasnât our favorite. The beach in front is pretty but had many visitors asking about the turtles that used to be there â sadly, theyâre gone due to a recent shark incident.Inside, the kitchen could use some updates. The open shelves were dusty, the cookware was very old and gross, and the mix of dishes felt mismatched. Some appliances didnât work well â the coffee maker left grounds, the Nespresso was finicky, and the toaster only worked on one side. The towels could use refreshing, too. Reusable grocery bags would be a nice touch since stores donât provide bags.Weâve been to Eleuthera many times and wanted to try something new. While we likely wouldnât book this house again, it served its purpose and Edelynâs help and the location were definite highlights.
