It’s hard to understand why this property is on Travelocity. It’s extremely run down. Cracked paint, mold in bathroom. Stained carpets and comforter. We checked in, changed clothes and then left and booked somewhere else down the street.

This is a case of never judging a book by it's cover. It doesn't look like much when you pull in ir even when you first go into the room. It was clean but stepping outside is magical. Clear Creek is right behind the hotel. We had a small balcony and could watch rafters and canoes going down the creek. We loved it. Then there is a screen door out to the balcony, so we had the sound of the creek the whole time. The beds are SO CONFORTABLE. All of us slept well, which rarely happens when sleeping in hotels. The shower has great water pressure and gets HOT. There is a small convience store right in front of the hotel that makes quick runs easy. It is in the middle of town and getting places was easy. I would highly recommend staying here and try to get a second floor creek view.

I drive cross country about once a year, I stop here as my half way point and it never disappoints. The staff is always so friendly and welcoming. Sure it’s not the newest place but to have a balcony with the river behind you. Some places cost $500 a night with no windows! Stay here, you won’t be disappointed. Plus ever place to eat in town is delicious.

The room I stayed in needed repairs to walls. Several places had wall paper coming up. The AC unit did not work. There is no restroom at the front desk. You must check in first, THEN you can use the restroom. The room I stayed also had no mini fridge and the microwave didn’t work. For $130+ per night, I expected a working fridge, microwave, and AC. Even though my room was close to a creek, that alone does not justify the cost especially since the space itself has many issues. I do not recommend staying here.

This was a very nice and clean place to stay. It was very quiet, and the desk personnel were very helpful. The view from the room was incredible, and the balcony was an added benefit. It was a little dated, but very clean and well taken care of. The bed/mattress left a little bit to be desired, but it was adequate. All in all, a wonderful stay, and I will be staying there again!

The hotel is older but somewhat updated. Clear creek is right behind rooms and you can open balcony door to hear it.

Happy with our stay

Older hotel - enjoyed the river flowing outside our room. We experienced no issues at all. Comfortable bed and pillows. No outside noise to keep us awake. We were happy with our stay.

Fine stay for the price

The location is very convenient and quiet, I liked the balcony facing the river. Check in was quick and courteous. Hotel itself needs an update, very old and worn out. Our fireplace was not working, the toilet had issues with flushing and a burned out lightbulb. We mentioned it at checkout but were told that if we stay in the right wing of the hotel the rooms are better although more expensive. Didn’t have a way to confirm that.
