A historic hotel located in the heart of Gettysburg. Within a very short distance there was a plethora of good places to dine, lots of shops and it provided the opportunity to take walks and read the history of what occurred in the town giving you a better picture of the battle.

Such a special place! The staff is absolutely wonderful—warm, welcoming, and always helpful. It's conveniently located near the college and battlefields, which makes it perfect for exploring the area. This is hands down my favorite place to stay. Highly recommend!

Great property in the middle of everything. Good options for walking and just sitting outside and watching the world go by. Bed was a perfect firm. Room was quiet felt like no one else was in the hotel. Only complaint was bathroom did not have a fan so humidity all went into the room when we took showers.

Our stay was overbooked and we were moved to another hotel outside of Gettysburg. We were not the only ones overbooked that night, which means there should be a system to avoid this occurrence - like catching it early and refunding the customer.

Excellent Charming History

Excellent. We enjoyed our stay so much! And this hotel is haunted! The friendly staff and guest conversation about the ghosts at the hotel are great! Beautiful and historic and a great location close to restaurants and shops within waking distance, Rage parking for a few. Everything was comfortable and clean. Thank you Hotel Gettysburg! We will be back soon!
