Location, Location, Location!

We could not have imagined a more perfect location for our stay in Ghent. We were right in the mist of everything we wanted to see and do. Communication was excellent, the property was clean and exactly as advertized. The views were amazing, especially at night. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were welcomed by Katty, the owner who expained us everything we needed to know. The apartment could not be more in the center of Ghent which made it easy to walk to all the sites we wanted to visit. The apartement was very clean and well equiped. There is a balcony with a table. It can be a little warm inside when hot outside. We could only hear the bells at 7:11 am. Not every half hour as indicated in previous reviews. There are two groceries stores close by. We had a very enjoyable stay.

This property was exactly was it appeared in the listing. Very clean and with plenty of towels, kitchen utensils, etc. Great location within easy walking distance of all the lovely highlight spots in Ghent. Host was easy to contact and responsive.

A 5-Star Stay

A wonderful place to stay in Ghent. The apartment is located above the bustling heart of the historic center with beautiful views. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable and safe with modern amenities. The hosts communicated well and I would like to stay here again. Being in the heart of the city comes with city noises, however, this didn't bother me. If I may suggest adding a mirror to the second bedroom and second bathroom. Definitely a 5-star rating and would recommend staying here.

Spacious and well equipped apt in very central but noise location

The apt is very large, comfortable with many amenities and in a great location, right in the center of town. Katty and Vic were very friendly, accommodating and helpful with great suggestions for our young kids with things to do in Ghent. The reason for the 4 stars is due to the noise level from the street which is a function of being in the center of town. We stayed there Friday and Saturday nights and the people in the streets were partying until the early morning and also the apt is next to a big church, their bell rings every half an hour. There isn’t much that can be done about it but potential renters should be aware of it. In addition, the apt needed a deep cleaning and the owners indicated that they usually clean but since they were out of town a different cleaning crew cleaned. Otherwise we enjoyed Ghent and our visit there very much.

Ideal Location, Historic Building

This place is in the heart of Ghent next to everything you need. A short walk to the major sites, groceries and coffee a few steps away. We felt very safe there letting our kids roam around a bit and get to know the neighborhood. Well appointed as well with a great sofa sleeper and everything you need in the kitchen. If you are traveling to Ghent and this place is available, do not hesitate.

Perfect appartement op top locatie

Zowel de locatie als het appartement is perfect. Het appartement is voorzien van alle luxe die je wenst. Alles is in uitstekend staat. Als je de deur uitstap ben je meteen in hartje Gent. Hele vriendelijke eigenaren die behulpzaam zijn en je voorzien van duidelijke informatie. Ik raad dit appartement aan iedereen aan die Gent wil ontdekken.

Interessante Wohnung in der ersten Reihe

Dieses Loft ist sehr hĂŒbsch und modern eingerichtet. Auch die Ausstattung ist sehr komfortabel, es hat an nichts gefehlt. Die Nutzung des eigentlich hĂŒbschen Balkons war leider durch die regelmĂ€ĂŸige Anwesenheit mehrerer Tauben eingeschrĂ€nkt. Die Taubenabwehr sollte unbedingt aktualisiert werden ! Lord of the Gent liegt direkt neben dem Korenmarkt im pulsierenden Herzen der Stadt. Aus dem Loft hat man tolle Ausblicke auf die berĂŒhmten 3 TĂŒrme. Das Glockenspiel des Belfried kann man aus nĂ€chster NĂ€he genießen. Alle SehenswĂŒrdigkeiten sind fußlĂ€ufig erreichbar.

Amazing location in beautiful medieval city

Our family had a lovely stay at this amazingly located property in the city center. Access to all of the historic sites as well as easy transportation to train station for day trips. Property manager was responsive and provided excellent information about the city. Easy check-in! Highly recommended.

Excellent location

We loved Ghent, and the apartment was central to the heart of the old city. Enough off the main street (50 yards) to be a little quieter, but you can't escape the church bells! They are part of the charm, but could be too much for some. The apartment was great, and Niels was very helpful, but the TV never worked and there was an issue with water leaking in under the balcony door during a rainstorm. Without those issues, a 5 for sure.

We stayed at the lord of ghent for 4 nights and it was amazing. the property looks exactly like it does online, but better. Owners were responsive immediately to any questions, condo is in a perfect location in ghent. we wish we could have stayed longer!

Terrific apartment with amazing views of the Ghent city center. Well equipped and location can’t be beat. Owners were great and met us at the apartment to show us all of the specifics. Truly wonderful place right in the heart of town. Great rental experience!
