Lovely accommodation with antique furniture including a four poster bed. The shower took a bit of adjusting and the tap didn't seem to have much water but the bed was comfortable, the staff were friendly and helpful, the room was quiet and the location was ideal for our purposes
Stayed in a family room. Room wasn't that clean and lots of broken bits. Sink was cracked no plug, bath was cracked so when in shower the water flowed in crack and didn't reach plug, laminate flooring was chipped and my 4yr old cut her toe on it, window frames had black mould growing and one window pane cracked. We were ground floor and windiws couldn't lock. Wasn't any hand soap to wash hands, looked like someone had trimmed beard next to mirror as loads of hairs on floor. Walls grubby and visible dust everywhere. The lady at check in was so lovely and fantastic with the kids but our room really let it down, we wouldn't go back. Nice central location.
The stay was perfect price was good staff was lovely very helpful size of room was g bathroom was good great shower perfect location for wedding and botanic gardens
Great location and friendly staff. Needs upgrading
Hotel is very dated and the conditions of furnishings, curtains and general cleanliness and condition of specifically the bathroom needs attended to ASAP! Walls need cleaned, repaired and painted. Ok for putting your head down but this hotel could be so much better with very little spent on it. Good location and friendly staff. Just invest a little to bring it up to scratch.
Great location.
Very friendly staff.
Very clean and big spacious room and toilet.
Check in time is quite late at 3pm and check out time is a bit too early at 11am, everything else is good otherwise.
Highly recommended. Thanks.

Location was good. Very large room and large bathroom but in need of an upgrade. Very old carpets which hadn't been hoovered and base of bed and mattress stained. No mattress protector.
Bath was damage & Door Lock we can’t lock inside not working I asked them they said replacement next day They didn’t . until check out When I sleep little worry my kids complaining no locking Room door and floor very dusty I asked them to mop the floor they done overall staff and manager good.problem they don’t fix the room problem leave it like that I don’t want to complain I don’t want to go back anywayJust feedback
I stayed overnight for a gig at Oran Mor, hotel location is very handy just being across the road. However, with no fans available for the room found it quite difficult to sleep due to the humidity in room and having the window open you can hear the traffic on main road. Good for the price.
It was visibly dirty, the furniture was stained, the bathroom was dirty, the towels were dirty. The hotel also asked us to leave our keys at the hotel whenever we left the hotel. Not somewhere I would stay in again.
Our (my wife, daughter and myself) two nights' overall stay was excellent. We liked the location (only two miles away from the city centre), opposite the Botanic garden, near the University and nearby plenty of food shops. Staffs were friendly and cooperative and professional as well. They managed a safe and free parking space for me at the rear of the property for the entire two days and nights which really gave me a relaxed tour. Lobby and kitchen (for breakfast were pretty standard and clean. However, we believe there is a space to improve the cleanliness of the room and bathroom, especially the carpet. Even though our overall stay was quite satisfactory.

Great location, warm welcome
The hotel is in a great location and has parking. All staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful. "Breakfast in a bag" was really generous and a good start to the day. Our room was huge, and had comfy armchairs in the bay window. Only downside is some of the furnishings/carpet are a bit tired, and there were chipped tiles and a weak shower in our bathroom. I'd stay again however for the welcome and location.
It appeared to be a 'hotel' which worked with social services for providing shelter for a variety of people from possibly deprived backgrounds.
My deluxe room was in need of repair and a proper clean. Dirty tissues lying at bedside. Pillow cases covered in stains. Could here every word from next door.
Made my excuses and booked into the Holton across the road.
Covid would have struggled in there!!
