Summary:
Enjoy a stylish experience at this centrally-located place in the heart of the City Centre. Whether you wish to sip coffee and observe the nightlife or sip wine and intermingle with the Glasgow Bar Scene the choice is yours. The beauty of the central location is you have the choice to relax after a long day of sightseeing or enjoy the night with friends and fall into a comfy bed after only a short walk.

The Space:
We have 2 large, amazingly decorated bedrooms with big comfy beds to relax in after a day of exploring or a night on the town. There is a pull-out sofa bed in the living area to enhance the group size or simply get away from a snoring husband :)

Guest Access:
Guests have full access to the whole flat.

The Neighborhood:
Our apartment is ideally located for a great stay in Glasgow. It is situated in the heart of the Merchant City, which has a wide range of cafes, restaurants, delis and bars close by, as well as the Designer Shopping District.
The apartment is well located, within easy walking distance of many local theatres, museums, and universities (including Strathclyde Technology and Innovation Centre).
Also located close by are several convenience stores (such as Tesco, Aldi, and Sainsburys) and these will provide the main requirements for self-catering.
A trip on the open-topped bus will give a great insight into the culture and history of the city. These buses can be found in George Square.

Getting Around:
Queen Street and Glasgow Central railway stations are within 10 mins and 15 mins walking time respectively. Buchanan Street Bus Station is also some 15 mins walk.
Also guests have the option of the subway (locally known as "Clockwork Orange") to travel across Glasgow. The local subway stations can be found at Buchanan Street and St Enoch.
Taxis are plentiful in and around the area and are reasonably affordable.

We can arrange rental of a high chair and a travel cot if needed during your stay

Family Weekend
We normally book hotels for our weekends away, but we decided to try an apartment and it did not disappoint. The apartment is very modern with everything you might need from microwave to hairdryers. The host is very helpful and always very quick to respond to any queries. We will definitely be booking again.

Liked the spacious clean apartment. Liked the storage space in the bedrooms. Liked the washer/dryer. Showers were great. Didn’t like that it was freezing cold when we arrived and one of the heaters did not work. Also found it annoying that the code was not given to us until very close to arrival time. We did not have internet access and had to go to a nearby hotel to get internet and the code. No hair dryer was present and we had to request one. One was delivered the next day.

Looks can be deceiving
Flat is located in a great area, Gabriel the host responds very quickly. Other then these 2 positives we ran into many issues with this place. 1. The beds are horrible they are super uncomfortable and small. The advert says there's a king but you will only find 2 full size beds. We asked for a mattress topper to help with the bed but they didn't have one. We had 3 nights of no sleep & back pain. 2. Main Shower flooded out bathroom - cleaners failed to keep drain clean of hair (gross). This was fixed the same day. 3. You will not find any soap, shampoo, hair dryer & face cloths in the bathrooms. Plan accordingly. 4. Though the kitchen is beautiful and modern it is very unpractical the cutlery is hard to find and the fridge is difficult to open. 5. The TV is way too low in the living room for viewing. 6. Both bathrooms don't have outlets for hair dryer etc, I had to get ready in the hallway with my flat iron.

The stay was great. Right in the middle of the city. Near the square. Train station is 2 blocks away. The apartment is large and can accommodate many guests. I recommend this place.

Awesome location!
Property was in the middle of Merchant City, easy walking to Buchanan Street, Glasgow Cathedral, subway/train, etc. Gillian was easily reachable with any questions providing great communication. Would highly recommend.

Gillian was a real bonus, she dealt with every one of our concerns ( some misguided) in a prompt and efficient manner. The apartment is the nicest we’ve ever been in. The location is about as convenient as anyone could hope for. The Italian Centre is a location people visit because of it’s architectural heritage and it’s effect on the revitalization of Glasgow. You can shop and dine all within the apartment complex.

Loved the two bedroom and two bathrooms modern appartement. Beautiful building complex right next to several restaurants and sites of interest. Three flights of stairs was a bit tough with the heavy luggage.

Luxury crash pad
Lovely top floor flat in ideal central location. Our single complaint was the bed: appointed very well but we felt the springs in the mattress. We never ate at home so I can't comment on kitchen necessities. I cannot stress enough how fantastic it was to be so centrally located. Five minute walk from the front door to George Square, train, tour busses, dozens of restaurants, Tesco express, car park, etc. The owner has a brilliant link brimming with information which was incredibly helpful as well. The stairway isn't for the faint of heart but the privacy at the top can't be beat.

Amazing experience! Didn’t want to leave. Very spacious, everything you could need and more. The Host was very responsive and supportive. The location is great…very close to many mass transit options as well as beautiful George Square. Will definitely stay again!!
