The location is the most amazing.
The only con I had was that drinking water was not easily accessible in the lodge. The vending machines only took cash.
We spent almost $1800 for two lake view rooms for 2 nights. The rooms were verynout dated, rough condition and they need an overhaul. Only great thing was the view. The rooms definitely not worth the cost!
Stunning location on the edge of the lake and so peaceful. The lodge which includes reception, bar and restaurant is warm, welcoming and has a great vibe. The accommodation cabins are beautifully laid out around the edge of the lake and the real fires are a lovely touch. We stayed one night the end of April so it was quieter than peak season, once the day visitors arrived peace was shattered somewhat although they tend not to wander through the lodge complex. The rooms are rustic which fits with the setting but would benefit from some investment, they're looking a bit tired and when the heating kicks in, its pretty noisy. Overall an adylic stay and we would return and recommend.
Very quiet and nice place to stay. Love the wood fireplace in the room and access to board games, snooker table in the main lounge area. Great place to relax.
Love this property. Iconic location and beautiful surroundings. I thought for the price point it would be a little more renovated. The restaurant was delicious but expensive (It would be nice if other guests would not bring their children there in pyjamas). Overall i would definitely stay again.
its a nice place to disconnect from the rest of the world an reset your mind , body and soul.

Liked: Staff & service
Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Beautiful picturesque scenery. Due to time of year we didn’t walk around the lake but would love to see it in the summer. Very quiet until we went to bed and people in room beside us were partying and were very loud and kept us awake. Liked the fireplace in the room. A lot of stairs and the rooms are a bit dated. Dinner was awesome but a bit pricey. Overall enjoyed our time there.
