We were in town for a conference and were disappointed we couldn't stay at the house longer and enjoy the space more. Chelsea was super accommodating and the house had all the stuff you need. It was 9 minutes from the Maxwell Center. Clean, comfy, and spacious.

I simply cannot say enough about this property and host! Chelsea was absolutely amazing, went way above and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable and stress free! This is a beautifully restored home with everything you could possibly need, and then some. We stayed for 5 nights over Christmas and felt so at home. We were all sad to leave. Chelsea is so accomodating and friendly and has thought of all the little extras that make the home so welcoming.

Wedding weekend

Our oldest grandson’s wedding was in Goldsboro and I needed a large space to accommodate 6 adults and three children. This house had more than enough space! Large rooms, beautifully decorated, all the amenities and much better than the pictures showed. The host was responsive and my husband even had a chance to meet her! Historic home vacation

This house was built in 1928 and it is still beautiful. Of course it has been updated - the kitchen is gorgeous. The kitchen is also well equipped for long stays. The owner, Chelsea, was so accommodating. She was very attentive and quick to answer questions. The beds are extremely comfortable and the house was so clean. You will love the kitchen and all the extras Chelsea provides. This house can accommodate a lot of folks. Our group consisted of 2 sons, one daughter-in-law, our 2 year old grandson and our small dog. My husband and I grew up in Goldsboro and we felt safe and comfortable. It is in close proximity to Herman Park- good park for kids and has tennis courts. sorry no pickle ball at this park. We would love to stay here again.

The Perfect Gem

I don't know what we would have done if we hadn't found this property! This home was beautiful. The perfect amount of modern spliced with Southern charm!We stayed in Goldsboro to attend my husband's military retirement ceremony. We needed a big enough house to accommodate our family and to host a small gathering - this house was perfect for what we needed - it exceeded our expectations! The amenities were top notch - from the cookware, appliances, washer/dryer - plenty of outdoor games for guests to play (cornhole, big Jenga, etc). They had a ton of extra lawn chairs we were able to use as well. Things we didn't even really consider we would have liked to have until we got down there. It was great!The beds and couches were very comfortable - no one had issues sleeping. The house was very neat - if you love early 20th century houses - everyone enjoyed walking around and looking at the beautiful architecture. The modern updates don't overpower the original look, which we thought was very special. Chelsea was very welcoming with a handwritten note to greet us and a gift. We felt very at home. She had great communication and was even able to accommodate an early check in (which meant A LOT to us considering we had a very long travel time).Five Stars! We would recommend this place to anyone we know. We absolutely loved it - thank you for the perfect stay!

My husband and I usually always book VRBO houses when we travel. Especially if it is going to be more than 2 night stay. Family Thanksgiving

This place was stunning! Chelsea went above and beyond to accommodate our family, including buying a CRIB!!! The kitchen was well appointed with everything we could possibly need for our thanksgiving day cooking and serving. The beds, pillows and linens were high end and very soft and comfortable. There was plenty of space for everyone and we had the best time! We’d certainly come back again.
