Great memories from the Lake House family

This recently remodeled home is located less than 5 minutes from the famous Hells Gate a very popular swimming area assessable only by boat at PK lake. Many anchor their boats inside the cove. The house sits on 1 acre and is 30 ft from the waters edge. With just one step down to the water a new large dock is available for swimming, diving and fishing. The house is accommodated wi-fi and Dish for viewing TV. The kitchen has all new appliances while the bedrooms and baths have been completely updated. The smoker/ barbeque is available for cooking your favorite summertime meal. This property is great for families and there is plenty of room inside and out. This house has made many family memories and we hope it will for you. The location is just minutes from the Cliffs golf resort where you can play a round or sit and enjoy the view overlooking the lake. The Rocker B Ranch/Venue is approximately 20/30 minutes away. Rocker B is a premier venue for weddings, baseball tournaments, and corporate events. Come sit on the back patio and enjoy a consistent South breeze with a beautiful West Texas sunset. Oh and with your favorite beverage.

Owner responded quickly. Some items online are not updated, like wifi info. Disposing trash is not convient, one has to take bags of trash to area that is not a walk away, you need to drive there. So throwing last day trash is a hassle since one needs to go all the way back to house to return key. House is beautiful. We did enjoy stay but trash disposal was an issue.

This place exceeded our expectations. We chose to spend a little extra rather than book a cheaper option, and we’re so glad we did. We were dreaming of owning this place the whole time. The property was spotless, well-maintained, and looked freshly remodeled. The dock was in excellent condition, and there’s a boat ramp conveniently nearby.One thing to note: the home is located on one of the busiest parts of the lake—which has its pros and cons. While the boat slip wasn’t available during our stay, which would’ve been helpful, but the dock had sturdy mooring poles that worked great and really helped keep the boat away from the dock, but it’s something future guests might want to keep in mind and prepare for if there will be multiple boats trying to tie directly to the dock.

Swim and chilling

Property and house were great - everything was very well maintained. We had a blast on the floating dock catching lots of small catfish and large perch as well as swimming and jumping off diving board.

This property is exactly as it is listed. The host was very responsive, the property was immaculate, and the check in/out process was seamless. We had an amazing week just living on LAKE TIME! I will say, the water is about 80 ft deep on this end of the lake and being on “open water” there were always waves. We required our younger children to always have vests on, even if just on the dock. Life vests are not provided on the property. We brought our own.

The kids wasted no time in utilizing the diving board.

The damn was letting water out and the water was stained but we still caught fish from the Newly built dock. Plenty of room for all and so easy to access; two steps to the dock!! Most enjoyable.

Great weekend at the lake!

I have rented this home 1 to 2 times a year for the last 4 years! My family and I always have a wonderful time! The owners are extremely nice and easy to work with. It’s a perfect place to relax and enjoy the lake and is always very clean. I hope to continue to rent here in years to come.

Great Stay with Friends!

Met our friends to tour the lake and hang out together. Incredible stay!! This property is definitely a 10 from the home, location and space, to the dock, boating, swimming and relaxing. I don't know if we could have found a better place. Very close t everything. We brought our boat and was able to tie very easily to the dock with their tying system. The waves did get rough on the weekend as other reviews stated, but our pontoon did fine. We had a great time and will definitely be back to stay again.
