The staff was so friendly and spend time answering our questions. The cabins were nice and the view was incredible. There are three restaurants in walking distance. We went in mid November and the rates were great. Weather was nice especially when hiking down into the canyon. It was nice to wake up and seeing the sunrise over the canyon by just walking out the door.

A gorgeous location and pleasant enough stay but sadly didn’t quite hit expectation. Some of the staff we encountered appeared either tired or fed up and not overly bothered about valuing their clients. Not necessarily the fault of those on the restaurant front line, but it was clear there weren’t enough staff on duty and service and at times attitude was not to a standard we’d hope for when on vacation - especially in such a beautiful place.

The location on the south rim couldn’t have been better, we were literally steps away. The room was great, staff are great, and the location to lodge, restaurants and shuttle buses are also great as well. I recommend staying here all the time when visiting the national park.

This location is due for an update at the rate they are charging people, so sad. Please UPDATE ASAP, this is okay, but only worth max $99 a night - time for a shift

Great place to stay for your Grand Canyon visit.

Was worried about no A/C but this wasn’t an issue as the nights get cool. The place is old so bring a charger that can charge multiple items. Wildlife viewing was amazing…elk right in the parking lot!! Restaurant at hotel had good food!

Great Views and Great Service

The front desk attendant was wonderful, I was a bit early and she found a way to work it out. I really appreciated her efforts. What a wonderful place to stay while in the Park. I would love to go back.
