The Lodge is a terrific place to stay. However, when we arrived at night we could not find our room number in the darkness. Reflective numbers might be a solution.

Nice place to stay close to the GC with a nice casual restaurant, tavern and general store all within walking distance. Staff was very nice and helpful with shuttle schedule. Would definitely stay here again.

The front desk staff were polite, but not particularly sociable. Maybe use ambassador types to welcome guests to the area. The room was adequate, but a few features lacking for the price: No counter space or shelving space in the bathroom to hold toiletries, and only one waste basket in the entire room, including the bathroom.

Basic

The room was basic. The shower didn’t work, nor did the phone to call the front desk. The rooms are old and dated. The furniture is basic. Food at the lodge was good and it is close to the grocery. The staff at the desk was helpful. Lou gave us good driving advice for our route upon leaving the park.
