I’m writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with my recent stay at Yavapai Lodge. Upon arrival, I found the assigned room in an unsanitary state—sticky floors smell of urine, a dirty toilet, and an overall lack of cleanliness that posed serious health concerns. Compounding this, the air conditioning was broken, and the room temperature reached 86°F, making it extremely uncomfortable.
Despite reporting the issue, I was told no maintenance staff or alternative rooms were available, forcing me to endure these conditions overnight. The next day, repairs were poorly executed, and the room remained filthy and overheated. Only after a technician confirmed the AC was beyond repair did the front desk suddenly offer a nearby room—contradicting their earlier claim of no availability.
Even the new room failed to meet basic standards, and when I raised these concerns at checkout, the staff responded with rudeness and deflection. This experience was distressing and unacceptable, reflecting serious failures in both cleanliness and customer service.
