The rooms are dirty, and the location does not reflect reality. You have to travel 5 minutes by car from the front desk. The corridor is full of unused extra beds. If I had known that earlier, I would not have come. The ice machine is dirty, posing a health risk! Shame for the state to let that property open...
Pleasantly surprised since I read some not so nice comments on this property. The area is beautiful, and our room was quite nice. The room was already cooled, and it smelled nice when we walked in. It was clean, and just the right size. Loved the walkable distance to dining and store. All around this property is beautiful and deer sightings daily. The buses are great that take you around the area. We had a terrific time! We will definitely book this property on our next visit!
Very nice and quiet lodge near the south rim of the Grand Canyon. Just a short drive to actually see the canyon and lots of stuff in between. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable and the kennel was a nice touch. Bathroom was kinda small but it did the trick for a one night stay. I would definitely come back.
The staff are very friendly, everything is very convenient and within walking distance. The food is nice, good buffet spread and a nice tavern that has a fire place. Beds were comfy and rooms were clean. Coffee making tea facilities in the room
Regular free shuttle buses within the Canyon to take to the lookout points.
Perfect for families. Would stay again.
I loved the location inside of the park. It was nice having the convenience store next door. There were also multiple options for food and a cafe inside the hotel. Staff was friendly and check in and out were easy.
The location is amazing! It is right near the bus to see the Grand Canyon. Near all you need

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Convenient, but very disappointed in the rooms, considering the price. First one we went to, the door wouldnt latch, no big deal- they put us in another room. Took forever to get warm water in the sinks, water pressure in showers were horrible, water was luke warm! Had a handicapped room and the button for the door didnt even work. Lickily we disnt need to use it and the person we were traveling with could open the door by themselves. Wouldnt stay again .

Beautiful location and very close to everything. Lodge is well kept and tries hard to do more for the environment too.
Our room was lovely, everything worked. It was unfortunately right next to the ice machine which you could hear constantly, but most rooms would avoid that.
There are options for eating (in park and in the nearest town). We brought our own breakfast options and saved quite a bit of money and got to eat it sat in the grounds watching elk, birds, chipmunks etc.
