Our 3 Day Stay in May’24

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at A Beach GetaWay! The camp was vey nice and comfortable. It had everything we needed. The property was very clean and Great views right on the beach. There was an access lane to beach right next to property which made riding the golf carts we rented on the beach easy to get too. We had a great time and would definetly rent this camp again.

Perfect Weekend

Perfect location on Grand Isle. We really enjoyed the beach getaway. It had everything we needed and more. Great access and views of the beach. Plenty of room to socialize on the decks or underneath. The rear area is shaded by the afternoon sun so we were able to stay outside and enjoy the coastal breezes and views of the ocean.

Had a great time in grand isle! The interior of the property was properly illustrated but the exterior is a different color and was great overall. Easy access to the beach and also a short drive to the Marina where we kept our boat for fishing. Our stay was comfortable!

Very Dirty with large Cockroaches

We were so excited to stay at this home. We flew across the country and paid a large sum of money to stay 5 days over the 4th of July weekend. It was in a perfect location and is a very nice home. Unfortunately the rental management company is doing a very poor job of cleaning this beach home. The doors were filthy with grime all round the knobs and looked as if they hadn't been cleaned in months. This is particularly disturbing considering COVID. The picture frames had thick dust, there was a ring in the tub from the previous uses, sand in the washing machine, the bottom drawer to the oven was covered in a thick layer of pet hair and dust, window sills all dusty and dead bugs on them. I swept the floor and there was a large pile of pet hair (we didn't bring a pet), there was cockroach feces in three of the cubpoards which I had to wipe and vacuum, and we encountered 4 cockroaches which we killed. We were so dissappointed and embarassed to have our family over for dinner. The management company did send someone to clean the doors and tub and wipe the pictures covered in dust after we complained, but there was still so much filth as the place really needed a deep clean and exterminator. I am sorry to have to write this review because I know it's not the owner's fault. They did say they would refund my $150.00 cleaning fee which is a small concession considering that we paid thousands to stay there. We will never stay at a place managed by Coastal Realty again. Despite the horrible condition we made the most of it and would stay again if it were managed by a different company with proper cleaning.

A great time to get away from it all

The property fit our family of 10 well. The open layout of the Kitchen/Dining area/Living room was very nice. It was wonderful to be able to watch the waves in the Gulf of Mexico while washing dishes at the sink or preparing food. The deck was wonderful for watching the sun rise over the Gulf. The hoses down below were great for washing of sand from the beach. The neighborhood was great. We felt very safe and relaxed. Our kids also enjoyed the large yard for playing football.

Great vaca!

Our stay was amazing! We would most definitely rent the house again. It was nice and clean, super convenient being able to use dishes, towels, dish washer and washer and dryer. Also appreciated the three tabs for laundry/dishes. The beds were amazing also. All in all one of the best vacation spots!

Camp nice BUT...

Camp nice but several dislikes. No wifi (was probably in contract, I didn't notice. But who doesn't have wifi?) Ants in the camp, they came right away to put traps. But there were still ants the whole time. Washing machine needs to be "washed". Towels smelled sour. Stormed on Saturday, front door not sealed, rain came in around front door, wet everything on the floor.
