Great spot

Family Time....Easter weekend!

We really enjoyed fishing and crabbing off the pier. The sunrises and sunsets did not disappoint...Beautiful!!! We really enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend staying here. Perfect for big friend groups and families
Posted Apr. 12, 2024 on HomeAwayHouse was very clean and in a great spot on the island not far from the bait shops, grocery store etc…. Between the fishing pier and the pool table, we hardly left the house. We will be back soon!

Trying our hand at being retired Snowbirds….
Posted Mar. 14, 2024 on HomeAwayObviously this fully-equipped camp was more than two people needed, but we certainly made use of its’ many amenities…….the large kitchen with all the equipment we needed for preparing meals; the master bedroom with plenty of chest storage for clothing; numerous large closets; and several convenient bathrooms.
Husband loved having the lower level for all his fishing equipment and where he could clean and cook his catches.
Obviously the dock saw a LOT of use as my husband could fish 24/7!
My favorite space? Sitting in a chair on the upper porch and taking in the sunsets. Those GORGEOUS sunsets!!
Melanie and Bill were the MOST gracious hosts with treats, helpful suggestions, and making us feel so very welcome to their beautiful camp and we can’t thank them enough!

Fishing Weekend
Posted Sep. 19, 2023 on HomeAwayThe Grand Isle beach house for our buddies' fishing bachelor party was nothing short of amazing. The highlight of the property was undoubtedly the awesome pier and the breathtaking view it offered.
The pier allowed us to fish right from the comfort of the house, making it a fisherman's dream. We caught some memorable catches and enjoyed the beautiful sunrises and sunsets over the water.
The house itself was spacious and comfortably slept all of us, making it ideal for a group getaway. The amenities were top-notch, and the kitchen was well-equipped for cooking up our fresh catches.
The location on Grand Isle provided the perfect backdrop for our celebration. It was a fantastic mix of relaxation and adventure, and we couldn't have asked for a better spot for a bachelor party. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a coastal retreat with a fantastic pier and stunning views.

Great peaceful stay

Beautiful house with amazing views

Spent a lot of time fishing off the new pier which is fantastic and big enough for any size group! Beach is close, we used golf carts to go over and enjoy that daily. Highly recommend, host was very responsive!
