Hotels.com failed to notify the property about our reservation, but Otesgo club honored our reservation and price. The bar and restaurant are closed on Sunday and Monday and the hotel front desk is closed after 4pm. Thru it all I really enjoy staying on this property and would visit again.

Beautiful scenery and top notch customer service. Clean but very dated. Pool was closed as well as the live entertainment bar, both of which we were looking forward to. In desperate need of landscaping, updating and painting. Very nice golf courses!

Stayed at the Otsego Resort for a weekend. We arrived late in the evening and the office was a bit confusing to find. Our room was well maintained although there was issues with lighting in the room. Saturday evening the power flashed multiple times. Overall it was a good experience but the place could use a few updates.

Terrible communication older lady was rude. Younger lady did the best she could to help, but it seems like the staff doesn't talk amongst each other. I wouldn't pay online its misleading. Also the rooms being cleaned on the regular is something to me desired.

A perfect Northern Michigan winter resort. Warm fireplaces in the lobby, nice and cozy bar, and beautiful campus. Taylor at the front desk was kind, friendly and courteous. I will be back in the summer with my sticks to check out the golf courses!

6/10 Okay

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, property conditions & facilities
Disliked: Amenities
There was only one small piece of soap, so none for the shower. The bath/ shower had a short shower curtain that only blew in on you while you take a shower. It had no magnet/weights to hold it down. The bathroom light switch turns on both the light and fan therefore if you use the room at night, it's noisy and disturbs the other people that are trying to sleep. Room is very dated in decor. Pretty pricey for the type of facility it is.

When we arrived at our assigned room, we discovered the room had not been prepared. The sheets were off the bed and dirty sheets were stacked on the chair. The room was definitely not cleaned for quest. I went to the office which was closed, and after ringing the doorbell someone came to the door and told me they were closed. After explaining that they assigned me an unclean room they let me in. They fortunately had (1) room left!
