What a hidden gem. We loved our stay at villa Adriana. The property was beautiful very close to beach and restaurants. Super friendly staff we will definitely go back
Nice, clean and spacious appartment. The swimmingpool is a real asset, with toilet and showers aside. The owner was hard working for the sake of his hotel and guests and came across a bit (over)strained. The village is close by, 7 minutes walking distance. Unfortunately the path to the village is a busy road with no sidewalks so at night especially it does not feel safe to walk with kids. We rented a car and had a great stay at Naxos.
The hotel is located out of the village, far from the beach. Look it up on Google Earth to see the surroundings. Across the street are empty fields. The owner picked us up from the ferry and did not say a word for the entire trip to the hotel. He was not very happy to see us (I figured the reason later that evening). The room was small and way different from the ones pictured on Expedia. The bathroom was the smallest I have ever seen. Two tiny soaps were the only toiletries provided. When I went to the owner and complained about the difference between my room and the ones advertised on Expedia, he started yelling at me: "What do you expect for the price you paid? Expedia is ripping me off. I pay them 15% of the room rate. If it were not for your special request I would have put you in one of the rooms in the basement." I concluded that the guests who booked through Expedia get the worst rooms. The rooms located in the basement get little or no sunlight and look like prison cells. The next morning I checked out and the owner kept me in the lobby for more than an hour until I agreed to pay him a cancelation fee even though it was not my fault. After I left the hotel I started taking pictures of the area. The owner came after me on a scooter cursing like crazy, attacked me on the road to the village and ripped my T-shirt trying to still my camera. No trace of Greek hospitality here, only violence, greed and rudeness.
The owner was super. He came to get us at the port, when we had questions, he was extremely helpful, went it of his way to help. We recommend this place to everyone. Walking distance to the beach, grocery store, shops and restaurants.
Hyggelig familieid hotell.
What a charming villa this was. Just what we were hoping to find! Yiannis and his family are so welcoming and make you feel like you are part of the family. He offered us rides into town, showed us his favorite restaurants in Agia Anna, and Mama served up delicious breakfasts. Wish we could have stayed longer. Also thanks to Mano for helping us retrieve a credit card from the bank that ate it!
This was our first stay at Hotel Adrinna but not our first visit to the island of Naxos. This hotel is perfectly located in Agios Prokopios which is just 15min. from the port of Naxos. Upon contacting the hotel, Manos picked us up at the port. The hotel is typically Greek - blue and white - most rooms have balconies. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty - an additional charge of 6euros. The best is the hotel's location - within walking distance of the best beach in the Aegean and also the town of Agios Prokopios which is filled with shops, cafes and tavernas
This is a great place to stay. Fantastic location and very convenient for visiting the rest of the island. The hotel is self is beautifully clean and the hospitality of the owners is excellent. The owners are helpful and wonderful people to stay with. Would highly recommend.
We were picked up for free from the port. After arriving at the hotel, we were provided with a JUG of the owner's homemade wine, and a plate of olives and tomatoes. The room was clean and comfortable, and the kitchen well stocked. Our only gripe was the poor Internet connection.
The family who run Adriana really make you feel at home and amongst friends. A first rate hotel ideally situated to the beach and amenities of Agios Prokopios.
