Perfect Getaway in the Wicklow Mountains

Four star graded by Bord FĂĄilte, the property has everything you could wish for in a self-catering property. Two ensuite bedrooms, double sofa bed, sleeps 6 (maximum 4 adults) Kitchen with microwave and dishwasher, washer dryer, satellite TV, DVD player and DVD library, barbecue, high chair, travel cot. Electricity and all linens included. Large, covered and secure westerly facing deck for outdoor dining. Hopefully we have thought of everything to make your stay as perfect as possible.

We had a great week here. The view from the living room and deck is truly amazing and we really enjoyed being about to sit and take it in and watch it change in different weather. The chalet is very well located on the site being in one corner so you can't see or hear the other properties when you're inside or on the deck. The location was great for many local walks and attractions and groceries /supplies etc a short drive away in Rathdrum. I'd say this property is best for 4 rather than 6 as the sofa bed is quite tired - lumpy and creaky. I don't think many people use it as we needed to give it a good vacuum before use (whereas everywhere else was clean and tidy).Well stocked kitchen with all mod cons. Nice warm showers. We would love to return

Apologies to the manage, I unfortunately I had not made contact before we arrived in Ireland, although an email was sent,which I missed. The lovely staff at the Wicklow Heather Restaurant on our first night, were able to explain where we were to head for and a neighbour helped with the keypad login! The views were fantastic and the weather clear and warm. This Wicklow lodge is a most tranquil, enjoyable place to stay, with all the amenities one could want. My 91 yr old Mum and I manage the flights of steps using our sticks, I had not checked whether there would be steps! they did not detract from our enjoyment. Definitely 10/10, perfect for us.Thank you for this wonderful llodge in the mountains of Wicklow

Cabin in Wicklow Mountains

We thoroughly enjoyed our one week stay at this lovely cabin in the heart of the Wicklow Mountains. Our host was exceptionally responsive to making our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. Such a spectacular view of the mountains and the sunsets from the deck! The kitchen and baths are modernized. Terrific location for day trips to the sites and activities in the Wicklow Mountains. We would consider staying here again.

Lovely cottage in the Wicklow Mountains

It was our second time staying in this lovely cottage. Really enjoyed our stay again. The last day there was a problem with the water but when we reported this we got an immediate response and were offered a refund for the inconvenience. I would definitely recommend this property in Wicklow!

The house is in the most picturesque location. We spent hours in the deck listening to trees and birds, looking at the sunset, cooking BBQ. Lots of fabulous eateries within 30 mins drive. The host is responsive and the house is very well equipped. Wuld recommend to friends and family.

Lodge beautifully appointed with gorgeous views over Wicklow mountains. Well equipped and clean. Near lots of lovely visitor attractions. Only problem was inadequate cutlery..mostly not matching and not sufficient cutlery for more than one meal.

A beautiful spot in the mountains

A lovely location in the Wicklow Mountains. Quiet and peaceful with lots of walks nearby. Ron was very responsive and the lodge was well appointed and clean. A great stay.

We had a lovely stay in this nice, spacious and comfortable cottage. It has everything you need and more, and most of all, the views are amazing! The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to do. I would recommend this place to everyone and will definitely visit again

Sehr schöne Unterkunft!

Wir hatten das VergnĂŒgen, einen unvergesslichen Familienurlaub in diesem charmanten Cottage in Irland zu verbringen. Das Cottage liegt abgelegen und bietet eine wunderbare Ruhe, die perfekt fĂŒr eine erholsame Auszeit vom Alltag ist. Die Einrichtung war liebevoll gestaltet und komplett ausgestattet, sodass es uns an nichts fehlte. Die Umgebung war einfach traumhaft, mit atemberaubenden Landschaften. Die irische Gastfreundschaft hat uns besonders beeindruckt – die Einheimischen waren Ă€ußerst nett und hilfsbereit, was unseren Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Wir wĂŒrden definitiv wiederkommen und können dieses Cottage wĂ€rmstens weiterempfehlen. Irland hat sich als wunderschönes und gastfreundliches Land erwiesen, das uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben wird.

The cabin was comfortable with an absolutely beautiful view. The little town of Rathdrum and so many amazing sights in Wicklow were so conveniently close! I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come back. Highly recommend!

Magnificent cabin in the Wicklow Mountains

What a beautiful, serene property in the gorgeous Wicklow mountains! We purposely chose to stay in the mountains towards the end of our 3 week visit to Ireland, figuring we could use the “down” time and that is exactly what we got. Other than a day tour to Kilkenny we stayed put, cooking locally bought foods (including a lovely Sunday roast beef with Yorkshire pudding), doing laundry, and enjoying the beautiful views and wildlife that paid us daily visits. The cabin is even bigger than it looks in the photos, master bed was so comfortable, bathrooms were modern and beautiful and the kitchen had everything you could possibly need. Overall we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thanks Ron!

Location was lovely. Enjoyed the deck in the evening. The nearby town had everything we needed-groceries, take away, pub, restaurant
The nearby treetop walk was fantastic. The cabin was clean and comfortable. I was surprised that there were several cabins, close together but it was peaceful and quiet.

Gorgeous Getaway

The views from this rental are absolutely stunning, and can be enjoyed from nearly every room, as well as the back deck. This is a perfect, 2-bedroom home base for touring Ireland. At night, we'd enjoy the comfortable chairs and streaming options on TV, and during the day we'd sight-see or listen to the valley river, cows, and birds from our back deck. It was my favorite location on our UK tour and I would gladly stay again.

Hervorragende Lage

Das Ferienhaus ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man fĂŒr einen wohnlichen Aufenthalt braucht. Der Ausblick von der Terrasse in die Wicklow Mountains ist atemberaubend schön. Bei Ankunft hĂ€tte die Sauberkeit etwas besser sein können. Der Staubsauger war so voll, dass er nicht saugfĂ€hig war. Es gab am 2. Tag einen Stromausfall. 2 der angegebenen Telefonnummern wurden als "wrong Number" angesagt, die 3. Nummer (Hauptkontakt) erreichte ich erst nach mehreren Versuchen, auf Whats app erhielt ich keine Antwort. Der Besitzer meldete sich auf Mailanfrage jedoch schnell. So erhielten wir die Nachricht, dass es ein genereller Stromausfall im Wohngebiet war. Das Wasser aus dem Wasserhahn (Badezimmer) lĂ€uft etwas dĂŒnn, auch Toiletten fĂŒllen sich langsam wieder auf. Insgesamt gesehen jedoch ist es ein schönes Ferienhaus mit toller Lage und sehr guter Ausstattung.
