The location of the B&B is within walking distance of downtown. The rooms are very comfortable and clean with a beautiful balcony that overlooks the quiet neighborhood street. Breakfast was delicious and served on on china and silver. It was a wonderful experience at a very reasonable price. I will be back and I highly recommend this B&B to other visitors.
We had a lovely experience here. The hosts were so kind and accommodating. Our flight from DC kept getting delayed and we didnât get to the bed and breakfast until 2am, but the owners kept in contact and made sure we were able to get in and settled. In the morning we were cooked a delicious homemade breakfast. We were walking distance from Downtown so it was easy to pop over and explore the town on foot (we recommend the Civil Rights Museum!). We stayed in the red room and it was clean and spacious. The house throughout is decorated tastefully and we felt so grateful to be staying at Haynes Bed and Breakfast! We would highly recommend if youâre planning a trip to Greensboro.
My daughter and I stayed at this b&b for two nights sharing a bed. It was located in a nice, safe area in proximity to the school we visited as well as the city. Our nights there were restful and we felt welcomed in their home. Breakfast was served on time each morning. Though we could hear the train, they did accommodate with earplugs which we did not have to use cause we were dead tired. Also provided a mini fridge and fresh fruit by the bedside. Overall great experience.
The house andd rooms were very clean. The owners were very nice. Breakfast was very good and its located in a really good area located close to coliseum, resteraunts and other shops.
I spent 2 nights there. It was quiet, comfortable and pleasant. Breakfasts were delicious & graciously served on vintage China. Coffee & cream were served in silver. I would recommend Haynes to everyone.
Glenna is a wonderful host and it's obvious she's been a Bed and Breakfast host for a while -- she's really good at it! She thought of everything and our accommodations couldn't have been nicer. The room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and her breakfast was abundant. I would definitely stay here again.
The property was clean and very secure. Everything inside was immaculate. Bed was terrible. Placement of headboard was literally up against a camouflaged window to the porch and any noise outside. After driving 500miles we needed our sleep. Complimentary earplugs in our room should have given us a clue what we were in for. Train horn at random hours every night. A massive homecoming for NC A&T sent it way over the edge. We were at a wedding for family the same weekend this occurred so we could not change the date.Nor did we have any clue this was even happening. Constant noise outside. Revving cars, booming music, police and fire engines, throngs of people were loud with no regard for anyone sleeping. To top it all off, the morning of the wedding, a drum corps started playing non stop starting at 6:30AM and went till 10:00AM. The noise was constant from Thursday to Sunday morning a few hours before I had to drive 500miles back home. All of our money was spent on a wedding gift and travel expenses. No rooms were reasonably priced to go elsewhere due to upcharging for the homecoming.Cancelation policy was a standard 24 hour notice before so we had no idea what to expect.
Property is in walking distance to downtown Greensboro with plenty of options for restaurants/breweries.
Thoroughly enjoyed our time at Haynes B&B. Hosts are very accommodating, very clean, enjoyed our down time on the covered porch.
The facility was immaculate, breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. The location is very convenient to downtown, but you do get typical city noises that go with the convenience. However, Glenna thoughtfully provides earplugs for anyone unaccustomed to it. It's a lovely home, and we would stay there again.
