Cozy family-friendly apartment in an idyllic hamlet

Enjoy your vacation in the middle of our magnificent alpine world in the tulip village of Grengiols. The ground floor apartment (two-family house) is located in the landscape park Binntal. It offers space for 5 people, living room with TV / satellite / DVD, radio, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds, 1 bedroom with a single bed, additional cot available, toilet with shower, kitchen, lawn area (deck chairs, swing ), Garden table for 6 people, barbecue (grill available), parking space near the apartment. There are wonderful hiking and bike tours on site or in the nearby Goms and Binntal (mineral area). Winter guests enjoy the large, snow-sure ski area Aletscharena 3000 m above sea level. M. (Bettmeralp-Riederalp-Fiescheralp), 5 minutes by car. to the Bettmeralp valley station. Excursion destinations: Near the Aletsch Glacier (UNESCO World Natural Heritage), Brigerbad, Leukerbad (thermal baths), Saas-Fee, Zermatt


Nature and relaxation: recover from your stressful everyday life away from the tourist crowds in our beautiful mountains. BĂ€cherhaeuser is a tranquil hamlet with the typical Valais houses in the agricultural zone and belongs to the municipality of Grengiols (landscape park), Upper Valais. The Valais is located in the sunny south of Switzerland.

You can reach our neighboring country Italy within an hour. In Domodossola z. B. there is a market every Saturday, which can be combined with the enjoyment of an Italian pizza. Locarno (Ticino) can also be reached in about 2.5 hours.

Leisure activities: Combine your leisure activities, e.g. B. Hiking, biking, climbing etc. with a visit to the nearby outdoor pools. You won't get bored even in rainy weather: indoor pool, fun planet (bowling, karting, billiards), fitness center (badminton, fitness, climbing, squash and tennis), cinema etc. Our region is the hiking and biking paradise (mountain bikes, electric bikes can be rented on site) in summer. Well-groomed ski slopes and cross-country trails are guaranteed in winter (ski equipment can also be rented on site).

Petit hameau paisible pas loin du glacier d'Aletsch inscrit au patrimoine mondial de l'UNESCO. Un super coin pour les vacances. Anneliese et sa fille Stéphanie sont trÚs chaleureuses et on se sent bien tout de suite dans le chalet.

Appartement et cadre agréables

TrÚs agréable court séjour à Grengiols. Nous avons apprécié le calme et les promenades dans la nature. Anneliese est une hÎtesse trÚs sympathique et disponible. Ses conseils et les documents mis à disposition nous ont été utiles. L'appartement, en particulier la cuisine, est trÚs bien équipé. Un feu de cheminée le soir en rentrant d'excursion terminait la journée en beauté. Grengiols est bien situé pour découvrir le glacier d'Aletsch, la vallée de Conches et la vallée de Binn. A recommander.

TrÚs bon accueil et logement trÚs agréable. A conseiller!

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© trĂšs bien accueillis et gĂątĂ©s (quelques produits rĂ©gionaux nous ont Ă©tĂ© offerts tels que du vin, des biscuits...) par des propriĂ©taires fort sympathiques. Le logement est trĂšs agrĂ©able au Rdc d'un chalet typique, au calme, avec un salon confortable oĂș il est possible de se poser et de profiter d'un bon feu de cheminĂ©e bien mĂ©ritĂ© aprĂšs une journĂ©e de ski ou de randonnĂ©e. Le logement est bien situĂ© pour visiter la vallĂ©e et ses nombreux jolies villages et d'autre part pour skier et/ou randonner. A voir Ă  Kippel, le musĂ©e des masques de TschĂ€ggattas (masques fabriquĂ©s et portĂ©s pour le Carnaval, tradition dans la rĂ©gion du Valais). Dominique M.M.

Leuke plek om te verblijven, in een oud dorpje waar je ook 'tussen de locals zit'.

Heerlijke tijd gehad, zeer gastvrij ontvangen, schitterende omgeving bij de gletsjers. Huisje was basic maar had alles wat we nodig hadden, fijne tuintjes erbij!

WohlfĂŒhlen in Grengiols

Wir haben bei Anneliese eine Woche mit unseren 3 Enkelkindern verbracht. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man braucht (bis auf die SpĂŒlmaschine, aber selbst das spĂŒlen hat Spaß gemacht). Anneliese ist sehr herzlich und durch nichts aus der Ruhe zu bringen - und wir haben sie auf die Probe gestellt mit unseren Rackern! Wir wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen. Vielen Dank, Anneliese!

Very nice place and host

Urige, gemĂŒtliche Ferienwohnung in Grengiols

Wir haben wĂ€hrend unseres Skiurlaubs nach den Weihnachtstagen in der Ferienwohnung gewohnt. Das historische Holzhaus mit Kaminofen bietet ein sehr uriges und gemĂŒtliches Ambiente. Die Wohnung ist umfangreich ausgestattet. Als wir dennoch etwas benötigten, hat sich die sehr herzliche Vermieterin sofort darum gekĂŒmmert. Wir haben eine schöne Zeit verlebt und uns sehr wohl gefĂŒhlt.

Echt Zwitsers! Heerlijk huisje in mooie omgeving.

31.12.2022 - 07.01.2023 skivakantie. Een prima locatie voor een weekje wintersport in de Aletsch Arena. We namen elke ochtend de bus vanaf Grengiols treinstation naar Betten of Fiesch. Ski's in depot boven op de berg. Heel praktisch en goed georganiseerd! Super mooi en familievriendelijk gebied met diverse uitzichtpunten op de gletscher. Wij hadden prachtig weer en prima sneeuw. Fantastisch! Jammer, dat er geen sneeuw bij het huisje lag. Hopelijk een volgende keer..... ?! Contact met Anneliese verliep heel fijn en goed. Ze gaf vooraf alle benodigde info en tips. Huisje van alle gemakken voorzien. Leuk gehucht in mooie, rustige omgeving met een winkeltje voor een boodschapje of brood. Verder genoeg winkels in Fiesch. Zeker een aanrader voor een weekje wintersport met het gezin!

Authentiek huis en ruime tuin

Het huis was voor twee personen heel ruim. Wij hebben genoten van de tuin achter het huis. Het weer was heerlijk! De gastvrouw en gastheer waren heel prettig in de omgang. Wij hebben twee heerlijke weken ervaren in Grengiols!

Erholung im Weiler

Wir genossen die Ruhe im heimeligen Weiler, fanden alles was wir brauchten im Haus, und waren ĂŒberaus zufrieden mit der Gastgeberin. Ein guter Ort fĂŒr viele Ausflugsziele.

Family of 5 and a dog from the UK

We are a family of five and a dog and we had a brilliant holiday at Alpenrose. Anneliese is a wonderful host and made all of us feel so welcome and offered lots of great advice on the local area and beyond. The accommodation is based in a fantastic location with many lovely walks direct from the door and very easy to get to the Aletsch Glacier and the Binntal national park. We had a car but also used public transport (get the Landschaftspark Binntal park pass) as the Grengiols train station is about a 25 minute walk. We enjoyed every day, but some highlights were the Aletsch Glacier (go from Fiesch up to Eggishorn for great early views before the crowds), walking back from Binn through the Twingi gorge (get the train from Grengiols to Fiesch then bus to Binn (Anneliese’s tip)) and walking across the Goms bridge to explore Ernen and MĂŒhlebach. We need to come back again and bring our bikes next time as there are so many exciting bike trails. Totally recommended!

Gastvrijheid

Een heerlijk verblijf gehad in het mooie Wallis. Wat vooral bijblijft is de warmte en gastvrijheid van Anneliese. Alles is te vragen communicatie verloopt erg prettig en er is veel informatie te vinden voor je verblijf. Je verblijft in een kleine gemeenschap maar hebt er toch alle rust. Een aanrader!
