Nice stay but lots of room for improvement
Very unclear where to check in, not sure which house was ours. Receiving the key safe code dor the key was nice by text, but would be better if the actual houde number would be there too. And maybe a digital map. Since thereâs no reception or other people to help in sight. Communicatiob this would go for a much better start than we had. Just finding it out ourselves.
Place wasnt very clean, moldy shower, hairs in the drain, weeks of dust, stains in the carpet but also in the bedding and pillows.
Apparently no parking next to the house. Let us know what size bed matress/sheets to bring so we can actually prepair. Dirty drawers in the kitchen, dirty glasses. No place to hang/put down clothes or towels in bathroom and bedroom.
Wifi was very unstable and mostly slow/gone. Hot water in shower completly gone after literally 2 minutes, need to wait a full hour for it to refill. We were staying with 2 people, but having this for 4 people would be terrible. Also thereâs 1000 pans to cook in, but only 2 very small frying pans that barely fit 2 eggs. Impossible to cook for 4 people like this. Also no cutting board or decent knife to find.
The location itself was amazing. Very quiet, remote. Waking up each morning to lots of singing birds (and lots of mosquitos).
Going somewhere requires quite a drive but we didnt mind.
Overall we still had a good time, but the house could use some easy improvements to give a better experience. Left it much much cleaner than it was before we got in.
