The house was filthy. There was no information about the house when we arrived. The water was bad. We could not drink it or shower in it. There was rust in the hot water because the hot water heater was so rusted it had to be replaced but the owner had not replaced it. The water smelled awful because the water filtration system had not been maintained. There was rodent feces behind the couch. My husband got a bacterial stomach infection from using the water the first few days. I got a terrible infection in my gum from brushing my teeth with it. Our home was being remodeled. We live about 9 miles away from this rental so I drove home every morning to take a shower while the contractor and sub contractors worked. I submitted pictures and documentation for everything we spent on antibiotics, water, air filters for the air conditioner etc. I put air fresheners in every room because it smelled so bad. We are seniors, had no help to move again. My husband is disabled. We did not come with just suitcases, we had boxes and bins with some of our kitchen belongings etc. We have a dog and two cats so it was difficult to find another house in a decent proximity that would accept them. Basically we were stuck in this misery for a month. The GM from VACASA was supposed to call me but never did. I asked the property manager several times if he/she was going to call and was told they would. It never happened. There were Vermex rodent deterrents in every electrical outlet.

Property was excellent. Couple things, they did not provide the gate code in the instructions. We had to call someone, so it took a little bit to access the property. Also toilet paper, both bathrooms only had half rolls and there was not an extra roll anywhere. Other than that the beds were great, laundry room awesome, very convenient location. Hope this helps.

A Gem

This lovely log cabin was clearly designed with private living in mind. The amenities, furniture, bathrooms were all very good. It was clean and pleasant. The principal bedroom was extremely large and well furnished. The yard was squishy due to the recent hurricane, but that wasn't a problem for us. It might be for a family stay. We liked it so well that we intend to rent it again when we are in the area again.

Lovely weekend getaway

We loved the house it was so cozy & the lay out was perfect, the sunsets were amazing & my dog loved running around in the spacious yard def will be booking here again , the game room was so much fun
