A $50 charge for parking applies to guests per stay. When you check in at the front gate, your parking pass will be given. Parking covers use of the lake, the pool, fishing, and anywhere in the Pine Mountain Lake area.
Once you have your parking pass, you have access to everything the that Pine Mountain Lake has to offer—the restaurants, the grill on the lake in the summer, fine dining restaurant on the golf course, the heated neighborhood pool with a candy shop, the fishing pond, kayak, sail and jet/motor boat rentals on the lake (five minutes from the house)—everything. We also provide camping chairs, a beach wagon, beach towels, lake Floaties, a beach umbrella, binoculars, sleds and ice skates for going down the sledding hill in the winter, the works.
Horseback riding is available for an extra charge, as well as the golf course. If you would like to have easier access to get to the park, the YARTS bus system is about a 15 minute drive from the cabin at Buck Meadows restaurant. We go there often to charge our EV car, and it’s a fun little restaurant:-). There are plenty of restaurants in town, five minutes away, and most of them stay open until nine.
We have pretty much everything: Shampoo, conditioner, body soap, as well as Q-tips, blow dryers, feminine hygiene pads, cotton rounds, spices, sunscreen, bug spray, coffee items, and basic cooking supplies.
The horse stables are about a five minute drive from the house. The front gate can give you a map, but you can also just find it on your phone. They have instructors there who can help you sign up. It’s about $60 per ride, per person.
And Groveland and Pine Mountain Lake are very easy to navigate around, once you get here. It’s in the mountains, but it’s actually pretty established and inaccessible! We and our kids love it here, and it’s a great place to visit. There’s so much to do in between visiting the park.
NO SMOKING ON THE PROPERTY. An extra $250 cleaning fee will be charged for any smoking on the property.
No parties. We are a family-friendly home.
We live in the middle of the wilderness! There are critters and bugs. But when the doors are closed, they tend to stay outside. We will see deer, turkeys, and lots of wildlife on a daily basis!
We live off of a quiet street next to a vacant lot, so enjoy a beautiful mountain view with lots of large trees in the backyard. Kids can wander down the hill to a seasonal creek, and pan for gold with our gold pan, or swing on the tire spring in the trees. We can’t wait for you to stay at the Black Goose Resort, up here in Yosemite!
We can’t wait to have you stay and cozy up next to the fireplace! Relax after a long day of hiking or just enjoy your time at Pine Mountain Lake, and all our amenities the HOA has to offer! We’ll see you very soon! For 2025, Reservations Will be Required to Enter Yosemite National Park during certain periods.
