Beautiful Contemporary Mexican Home in excellent location

Casa Matilda is a house with a contemporary Mexican architectural style, open spaces and a wonderful energy. It has been a family home with many stories to tell and now we are happy to share it with travelers and lovers of Mexican architecture.

The house is simply a beautiful home, where you will be immersed in the contemporary Mexican style. Enjoy a nice book and a coffee at one of the patios, or take a nap at the hammock. Explore the library, play the piano, play pool, enjoy the bathtub and just enjoy any space of the house full of light and plants everywhere.

The house is great for friends and family reunions, with open spaces, indoor and outdoor patios, a fully equipped kitchen and spacious bedrooms.

The house has 5 bedrooms, each of them with it's own private bathroom, closets and clean towels and sheets. 1 downstairs next to the garden, 3 more on the second floor around the beautiful indoor patio and one more on the third floor with 2 twin beds and it's private bathroom. It is on a 3rd story and you can access it by it's own private service staircase (just a bit of a squeeze to get up there).

You will be able to enjoy all the spaces in the house, the kitchen, the library, living and dinning room, maybe spend an afternoon outside at the garden drinking tea or enjoy the confortable rooms.
Feel free to use the kitchen to cook for your family and friends, or to have a nice breakfast (if the walls could speak, that kitchen would tell lots of interesting stories). You can use the garage if you have a car or 2.

The house is in perfect condition and it is also a very safe house, with reinforced and specialized locks.

LOCATION

The house is located in a great centric area with public transportation very close by and al sorts of restaurants, coffee shops, convenience stores, churches, public parks and supermarkets. You are close to everything in Guadalajara from this location. There are top choices of restaurants and bars walking distance.
We are close to La Minerva, Galería del Calzado, Providencia, Chapalita, with bike lanes that connect to Chapultepec and downtown.

-OVERALL I give this amazing listing ***** 5 STARS!! My family and I stayed for 6 days over the New year. The house has ALL amenities for big groups. WIFI was strong and worked in every room of the house. Natalia is great host. She was available and responded quick for any concerns needed. The location is secure and is local to Downtown, shops and many restaurants. Will definitely stay here again.

-The photos do not do this place justice because it is such a big open space! The natural lighting makes you feel like you are in a jungle in contemporary Mexico. Spacious, lush with greenery and everything you could possibly need. The location is great too - safer part of the city but we appreciated the security nonetheless! Would definitely love to stay again.

-Wow I don't even know how to put into words what an amazing oasis of a place this was to stay at and experience as words would never do justice. A paradise truly- super spacious, colorful home with lots of natural light and a great vibe. I loved the fountain where I could listen laying in the nearby hammock, as well as the outdoor spaces with many beautiful plants. Very clean and easy communication with the host.
