Had a wonderful check in with Becky, The Manager. She was very informative with everything. What an asset she is to the hotel. The hotel is nice, quiet and clean and has a great view of the ocean. Hotel property is in a convenient location. Would definitely stay again.

The property is very nice for the area, with a grocery market and restaurants all within walking distance. The beach is litterly across the street, but access requires a bit of a walk to get it...The owner is very friendly and lives on the property. We had our beagle puppy with us and the floors are laminated and perfect for dogs as it is easy to clean (we didnt have that problem as she is trained but you never know).. My wife and I enjoyed ourselves very much.

The country inn gave us more than expected! The view was absolutely breathtaking and the room itself was clean and had everything stated in the description. A nice play to stay and enjoy the beauties of Gualala.

We had a lovely weekend in Gualala, and the property was in a perfect location. Reception was warm and welcoming, and our room was cozy with the fireplace. There was not much for amenities, but all we really wanted was an affordable room with an ocean view. This was it, including an elephant seal we could see on the beach from our window!

The mattress felt like a $100 mattress, but luckily we were tired and finally fell asleep. The sofa was torn. The decor is an excellent throwback to the late 70's :)

The receptionist was wonderful. She really worked to accommodate us. It was off season, so the place did not have the heat turned on until we got there. So that took quite some time to come up to temp. Other than that is was a nice place and a great view.

A local gem and dog friendly

This was our first stay here, but we’ll definitely be back. Welcoming staff and comfortable rooms. My husband & I snore loudly, so we chose separate ocean view rooms next to each other. We both had great views and electric fireplaces in each room. We also brought our small, well-behaved dog who stayed with me. The inn is dog friendly with laminate floors in the rooms. Worked perfectly for our needs.

It is clean and check in was thorough. It would have been nice if the room had been warm when we arrived. The bathtub dropped all night and the TV turned on randomly throughout the night. At about $200 after taxes and dog fees on a Wednesday night, the price seems high, but it is on the coast. It is nice to have a fridge and microwave.

The room was quaint and the view lovely. We simply didn't have any chance to spend time there; arrived late and left early. Very much appreciated the natural food grocery nearby!
