Family staycation in the rain was lovely

We loved our stay at the Stavrand. Very cozy, nice amenities, wonderful breakfast. It was pouring rain so we were stuck inside with our 2.5 year old but with a lovely sitting area, fireplaces, boardgames, and smore kits we had a lot of fun. Look forward to staying again.

BIG fan of this property -- mostly because of the people. While a bit dated, that's part of the charm and the staff was some of the friendliest I've experienced. Super helpful, super accommodating, and super friendly. A short, mostly pretty walk to "downtown" made it easy to not have to drive a lot and outside of losing power (not in their control), it was a great, relaxing stay! Can't wait to come back and try their dining options (and sadly skipped breakfast, too much to do!).

The Stavrand is an exceptional property; right away it is noticeable how the staff cares about their patrons. They go above and beyond to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The staff is so warm and friendly. They went out of their way to accommodate my toddler. The property is beautiful and relaxing. There is space to explore and wander. Check out the garden area and hang out at night by the fire pits.
