Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet Club, Unit #407A, in Gulf Shores is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo on the 4th floor with a trendy coastal feel. The condo on picturesque Little Lagoon sleeps up to six guests.

· Living area has balcony access, Queen sofa sleeper, two armchairs and a large flatscreen television mounted on the wall.

· White appliance, light wood cabinetry and granite countertops are ready for families to enjoy wonderful meals in the updated kitchen, while they are on vacation. A large breakfast bar has seating for five.

· Master bedroom has a Queen-size bed, wall-mounted TV and wood flooring. The ensuite master bath with vibrant coastal colors has a single-sink vanity and a bathtub and shower combination.

· Second bedroom features a Queen-size bed.

· Guest bathroom has a bathtub and shower combination.

· Stacked washer and dryer are available for guests’ convenience.

· Fourth-floor balcony has a beautiful view of Little Lagoon and the condo’s amenities. A table and four chairs as well as a chaise lounge are ready for relaxing days on the Alabama coast.

Gulf Shores Surf & Racquet features an outdoor pool, a kiddie pool, a hot tub, outdoor tennis courts, a boat launch, and an outdoor grilling area.

The beachfront condo is located at 1832 West Beach Boulevard, approximately 3.5 miles west of State Highway 59.

I wanted to love it.

We booked a quick getaway as a family and for the price we paid, this place did not meet our expectations at all. First and major issue was that none of the three TVs would work. We had 4 children from 7-2years and we did not bring devices for them because there were TVs in the rental pictures. The 24 hour service is definitely not 24 hours and it took almost all of the next day getting someone to come out to take a look. The maintenance man was 10/10 and did his best, but there were no kids channels. The condo definitely needs some major electrical and cosmetic repairs. The lights in the master bathroom flickered and there were holes in the walls/ceiling. The drain to the sink in the kitchen was clogged also and wouldn’t drain adequately. 2/10; if you need a place to lay your head it works, but for the price you might as well just get a hotel and eat out every night. We were very disappointed.

This property is in serious need of deferred maintenance.

The property is way over rated. The pictures in the ad are misleading and very old. The furniture needs to be replaced, there are building code violations, lights that flicker or just don't come on. Use of regular plugin where there should be GFIs. The ceiling fell in on our bed from a water leak, it took 2+ days to get someone to come out, so they moved us to a different property. Also the kitchen is not set up very well and the Spa didn't work. Refrigerator doesn't cool very well, there is a note on it trying to justify it. The rooms are much smaller than the pictures show. Whoever owns this property has zero pride of ownership. I would stay away from this property if you are looking for a relaxing vacation. Brett Robinson did a wonderful job of making things right, but this property needs some help beyond their control.

Nice condo at the complex

We’ve stayed at GSSRC at least 5 times, but this was the first time at this condo. I really like GSSRC and this condo didn’t disappoint. I’d stay here again.

Great Location

The condo was very clean and in a great location! The pool and tennis courts were nice. The beach is an easy walk across the street. There was plenty of parking. There were also a ton of eating places within a 5 mile radius.

This was an absolute gem. Condo was roomy enough for 5 with perfect amenities. Very satisfied with property cleanliness and definitely will be back for seconds. True blessing of a vacation!

Great Vacation

The condo was listed just as expected, really came with more kitchen items and towels than we thought. Great view of the pool and lagoon from a spacious balcony. Loved the shopping carts and luggage carts available by the parking lot to move items to your condo. Pool time was great, 8am to 11pm each day. Beach access was also awesome AND they have umbrellas available to use there. Also close by is an public beach where you can walk out the sandbar by at least 15 yards or more. Everything was within driving distance with Waves and Pier 33 for all your needs. There is also a Walmart and Rousses nearby for anything you need as well. Really everything is reasonably priced including this condo. This was a great choice for our 1st Gulf Shores vacation, will definitely choose to deal with Brett/Robinson properties again!
