The unit is old but well taken care of. Beds and showers are good. Good amount of kitchen utensils, could have better pans and lids. Stove is pretty bad. But the worst part is that we had 1 car spot, which doesnât make sense since it is a 2 bedroom unit but the solution is the problem, overflow parking is 3,5 miles away. Thatâs ridiculous. So, We liked everything but wonât come back because of parking âoptionâ.
Location and views were excellent! Condo was close to several attractions and restaurants. Older unit with most amenities but several things need updated/fixed. Overall, it was a good trip!!
Clearly when you get in condo itâs not as glorious as you think. Itâs old and and not much room on balcony for all of the adults. The dishwasher stopped working the day we were leaving . The hot water was a problem and the washer and dryer is old and VERY small. The dryer doesnât work that great either. Luckily we were basically sleeping in there and not spending a lot of time . Also basic satellite no Netflix etc type tv . Itâs really not a lot of room to be comfortable in with seven ppl with three kids and four adults.
The location was great. The condo double room and bath could use a little upgrade. The hot/cold faucets were swapped in the shower and the commode was unbalanced in the double room bath. The mattresses in the double room were very squeaky and the sheets were very rough. Other than those, the condo and area was clean and nice.
Upon arrival, check in was easy, and everything appeared clean except there was sand all over the floor from the previous guests. The unit is old and outdated and needs to be repainted but the owners seemed to be trying with the decor. Granite is nice and the beds are all new looking so that helps. The paint is chipping, and there is some weird exposed wire in the bathroom with a hole in the wall where the wire comes thru. My husband said it was cable not electricity and wasnât as alarmed as I was. There is hardly any hot water. My family of 4 fought for the first shower. We liked being on the first floor and not having to wait on the elevator. Our balcony was right above the pool, and the balcony is kind of open to the unit to the left. We could hear their conversations, so Iâm sure they could hear ours. When standing you can see right into their balcony. I felt like I had to look away or I would seem like a creeper. The door to the balcony was really hard to open and close. At night from outside (where everyone congregated after crab hunting) you could see straight into our unit all the way to the kitchen-even with the curtains closed (because they werenât lined). 1 more chair or comfortable seating is needed in the living room. We had a hard time getting comfortable and we are small people. The kitchen had what we needed. I didnât cook a full meal, but we grilled and never missed anything so that was good.
We never had a parking issue, but some people we were with did. If you are out late on the weekend, you might be out of luck.
Overall, we had a great time. I donât think we will stay here again unless those updates happened, but the location is great!
